    You stand outside the Seer's audience chamber. There are two guards standing there. One seems to be spouting verse while the other seems to be scribbling down what the other is saying. it must be noted that both of them are unarmed.

    The waiting chamber you're currently in spans 40 ft. The walls are carved with depictions of past dwarven deeds with gems of various shapes and colours are set within them adding to the glamour of this room. The ceilings are 15ft high and in the middle is a huge chandelier depicting a starry sky with tiny crystals, all enchanted to give off light.The floor of the chamber is a huge mosaic art work focused Moradin forging the dwarfs while his wife Berronar with the rest of the pantheon watch on.

    The room is furnished with cast iron chairs arranged along the walls, all with silk lined upholstery. A decoratively carved barrel, mugs and a plate offering bread and honey placed on a table stands in a corner as refreshments.

    Korwain walks over to the barrel. He looks at the bread with disgust, scratching his coarse black beard. Deciding he would wait to eat some mutton at the inn later, he walks back to the row of chairs. He sits, pulling the letter he received from a pouch. Brow furrowed in concentration he reads it again, before replacing it. He idly picks a scab on his hand, waiting for something to happen.

    Eddrak walks down to the closest seat. Crossbow on back, ale in hand. He takes a few drinks before sighing as he sits before launching a huge burp out. He then smiles at everyone with a slightly red face. "Would anyone like a mug of ale? I've got too much to carry." Eddrak takes another swig of his drink afterwords and continues to wait.

    A dwarf with an intricately woven beard and a fine, clean mustache walks into the chamber. His white hair seems to be well kept, much like his colorful, Multi-patterned robes and bejeweled hands. To his side, is an axe that seems to contrast his attire and a worn sack with some patchwork around the bottom.
    The dwarf grabs a mug and samples the beverage.

    "You have my thanks comrade. I needed that!"

    Kina Blackhammer, who may be known some of the others as member of guard, whose infamous attitude had earned her nickname "orc-Girl", watches two drunks with disgust. She takes her eyes out of them and reads the letter again. It had disturbed her, but it was her duty to follow the instructiosn and show up here. To ignore Seer's direct order and put her people at risk by inaction, that wouldn't be how a dwarf, especially one so responsible like her, would do.

    Physical Appearance: As typical for a dwarf, he’s stout, slightly more so than a standard dwarf of his age, and a little over a foot shorter than the average human. All around, he’s bigger than characteristic for his race. Little light brown hair covers his body except for his beard and hair. Grown out and meticulously groomed his dwarven pride is braided into rope like strands that form down to his stomach. His face is flat, his nose even wider, and the features are muscular in nature.

    Apparel: Dressed more for function than fashion his clothes are made up of simple leathers and wool. His worn, patched leather leggings are in relatively good shape and tuck into his stiff hard-boiled boots. The metal tipped footwear themselves are of a higher quality. Noticeably, they are cushioned from the inside with several bands to secure them from dropped embers and intruding water. From his waist, suspenders hug to his barrel gut and wrap around his chest to support the weight of his belt. Overcrowded with pouches and weapons a multitude of tool handles peak up from within their belted containers. The pouches, though snugly fitted together, are easily distinguishable by form and color. Most notable are his gloves, goggles, and beard clasps. The thick, fingerless gloves are dyed a blue and impregnated with weaves of metal. The goggles dyed much in the same way are fitted with easily replaceable lenses. The clasps are gold just like the rest of his metal studded equipment, and careful care and time are put into making sure that the polish is not tarnished by an unsightly scratch. Over all of that is a fur topped full body coat, it's fur from the mane of leonine magical beasts while the rest is made of finely crafted, thick cloth.

    Yurrak had arrived some time earlier, not early enough to disrupt his host, but early enough to see several of the others arriving. He hadn't been in Dumadan all that long, making the letter he received a rememberable impression. Either, The Seer lived up to her name or she had a reliable sources of information, either way she was a powerful person. When he first arrived in the chamber he worried himself with the minor thoughts of being underdressed, but after seeing some of the others his thoughts were quailed. Now, he busied himself with ink and paper. He always took care to document his travels, though normally he would do so at a more suitable occasion, but the majesty and historical importance of the chamber inspired him to take notes now. In his book was a short written blurb for each of his soon to be acquaintances then a semi rough sketch of the chamber walls. He had finished most of the outline and was now working on filling in the finer details of the works.

    At the friendly gesture of the crossbow dwarf, "No, Thank you. I'm holding out for latter." In truth, Yurrak didn't drink as often now days. Mostly when it was socially expected, not that he judged those that enjoyed hitting the stuff a little harder. He tried to keep an open mind about most people in fact. During his travels he was shown on many occasions that first impressions can be deceiving, dangerously so, especially of those that had been titled 'adventurers'.

    Physical: Bansz has long, dark brown braided hair, matched in color by her eyes. She is of average size for a dwarf of her age. She keeps herself well groomed, and in clean clothes, but has an air of absentmindedness about her. Unlike many dwarves, she wears no armor, instead opting for the comfort and fit of robes. Slung over her back is her favorite, well maintainted and polished bow. The weapon almost seems out of place when viewed by her casual clothing and friendly demeanor.





    "Sorry I'm late!"

    Bansz hustles into the room, frantically observing the denizens of the room for disapproving glares. Noticing quickly the casual atmosphere, she relaxes and slows to a walk. Her typical smile overtakes her expression, and she addresses the nearby drinkers, naturally gravitating to the joyful individuals.

    "Pleased to meet you sirs! Could I assume that you've been summoned to the Seer's company as well?"

    Korwain, in a word, is unkempt. His hair is cropped sHort and his beard is a nest of tangles and knots. His clothes are plain, black high boost, brown woolen britches and a simple red tunic; the hint of a mail shirt barely visible beneath. His the cheapness of his clothes is opposed by the great black bow on his back. Images of pythons circled the length of the dark wood. Brown cord, well maintained made up the handle. A quiver, with the same pythons decorating the leather, filled with black feathered arrows, is on his back.


    Korwain stopped picking at his hand when the female dwarf entered the room. Listing to her speak, he cracks a sly smile, feigning surprise. "Here to see the seer? I could of swore this was a brothel!" He lets himself laugh dryly a bit before continuing in a more serious tone. "Do any of you know what this is about, why we are gathered?" He asks lifting his folded letter.

    Just as everyone seems relaxed another Dwarf, dressed in prison garb is brought by four guards being lead by their officer. The officer with several scars on his face holds some paperwork. He nods at the two guards standing by. We're here with the prisoner at the Seer's invitation. Can you retrieve Volerk?He's got some paperwork to sign and if he starts going on, tell him I've got no time for his crappy verse. it was bad enough having to read that tosh out to the prisoner here.
    The posted guard walks into the Audience chamber and after a small delay He is followed by Volwerk, a stuffy, formal gentledorf garbed in fine gowns with his beard braided and beaded with jewels.

    Ah! Soo is everyone present? Excellent! Her Glorious Majesty, The Wise and the oh so Benevolent Seer of Dumadan will see you now. Volerk boisterously says in flowery prose and gestures everyone through the Double doors.

    From out of another room, a rather tall and muscular dwarven woman of 4'3" steps out. Wrists shackled, and neck with a chained collar on. She's wearing a sleeveless shirt, simple pants, and a straw hat. Her skin is a sun-soaked bronze color, and scars upon scars can be seen dotting her arms and face. A pair of goggles also rests around her neck - and her face, partially-obscured by very unruly and unkempt dark, red hair, might have once been considered pretty. Her gaze is steely, though, and perhaps quite literally - her eyes are blank, burn-marks around them. She is blind.

    Even so, a contingent of four armed guards and their leader escorts her, clearly not taking any chances. She looks a bit paler than she should, and thin - obviously having been imprisoned for a long time. Taking a seat, she waits, hands in her lap. Fingers flexing, as if longing to grasp something lost to her. Her face like stone, unreadable, as she gazes into oblivion, seeing something nobody else does.

    Is this the famed Beast, imprisoned for sixteen murders within two days? After those charges were filed, it was found out that she had killed many more. After three years, this mad creature should have been executed. But it had been decided that she would await a decision. Since then, she's been subjected to poor ration, no sunlight...a caged Beast, the worst punishment that could be thought of. Every day, she would have to live with the memories of those she killed, her visitors being the families. To spit at her, and throw things, angry and tearful.

    Break. Smash. Slaughter. Kill. Burn. Escape. EVISCERATE. DOMINATE. INCINERATE. DESTROY ALL. BRING THEM TO THEIR KNEES BEFORE YOU.

    Rising from her seat almost as soon as she got a chance to sit down, the scarred dwarf stands, staring off toward the doors. And begins walking at way - sure-footed, like a soldier.

    Bansz watches the prisoner carefully, trying to study as much as she can about the apparent murderer. She walks along, following the summons towards the next room. After a few steps however, she stops, glances around quickly, and grabs the drink that the well-dressed dwarf abandoned. Knocking the remains of the drink back in one quick swig, she stashes the empty mug in her satchel. Shivering momentarily from the sudden rush of alcohol to her system, she continues her walk to the next room.

    "What I wouldn't give to learn why she did it firsthand...." Bansz mutters to herself.

    Kina follows others, preparing herself for meeting with her majesty. Saying she is suprised by quality of her to-be companions would be an understatement. She had already found reasons to pity one of them, the sexist drunktard, and the mad Beast. But the duty was duty, orders were orders and mission was a mission . She was doing what she was told, even if that included travelling with doubtious companion. Of course, would they become hidrances to achieving their goal, whatever it could be, there are many accidents, that could happen in careless traveller.

    Yurrak listened to the conversation unfold. Apparently, they were just as informed as himself. At least, that's what he thought until the finer clothed gentlemen said something odd. His own letter was mostly vague, with a few discernible facts. He began to wonder if the letters were each unique, holding a different piece of the picture. Just as he was about to suggest a letter exchange, an exchange of information, a scene made its way into the chamber.

    His mind rushed; he mentally repeated to himself. Don't Judge. Don't Judge. The prisoner was a guest? If there was anyone here with some fame behind their name, it was the famous mass murderer. Murder was uncommon enough that news such as hers spread like wildfire. The situation struck him as odd, surely he wasn't supposed to work with a famous criminal. The letter didn't suggest the job was prisoner escort. As the others praised the murder, he started to worry for his reputation and honor. Hopefully, they were just ignorant of her crimes. Working with such a crowd could ruin him. This job began to become unsightly, but he was already in his host's waiting room. It would make him look bad if he just walked out. He'd see the seer with the rest, and then refuse the job if it looked too damaging.

    As each of step through the threshold of the door, the strong smell of incense washes over you. Before you lies the Seer, wizened and calm sitting upon a nest of pillows. Following the motif of the Audience chamber the the throne room's floor is covered in a Mosaic but with the depiction of all of Oerth's races. The room itself is similarly decorated to the one you all just left but on a larger scale. Along with the gem encrusted carved murals, there's Canvas wall hangings, a carpet leading up to the Seer's seat and curiously cushions littered across the floor.

    Your Eminence, I present to you, the party you invited for an audience. Volerk announces loudly across the room. he then says
    Make your self comfortable. This could take a while, we have a lot to get through. he informs the group, pointing to the cushions.

    Scoffing at the kneeling woman, Korwain strolls over to the pillows. He sits unceremoniously, sprawling over the fine fabrics. He gives a lazy yawn before scratching his beard.

    The well-dressed dwarf takes a seat. He readjusts his cap and bifocals, and gives a hardy clearing of the throat. In addition to getting himself comfortable and presentable, he presents an item that was stowed behind his robes and seems to be connected by a string around his neck like some sort of necklace. Though this item in not jeweler, but an active hourglass with a majority of its sand on the bottom.
    He looks at it for a second, before returning it back to its resting place behind his undershirt. He mumbles something about 3 minutes, before returning his attention back to the Seer's area.

    The crimson-haired dwarf takes her seat in the center of everything, pushing aside pillows. There's honesty in the cold, hard ground, the unforgiving stone. Sitting cross-legged, hands still shackled in front of her, she stares blankly ahead toward the seer. "...I was told you were organizing the terms of my release. Is this true?" She wants no part in anything if she's going to be shackled the entire time, bound. One finds it difficult to fight, to slaughter, if she does not have her axe. Just as well, it seems, for someone who used that axe to kill many able-bodied dwarves in cold blood. Two squadrons' worth, it's suspected - but seeing as a few were random deaths, such as drowning or falling, that's not exactly likely.

    Or is it? Only the Beast would know, perhaps.

    Eddrak also takes a seat on the cushions. He never really was one for courtesies. But he tried to be polite nevertheless. He quickly drinks the last of the ale and puts the mug back in his bag. He neatens up his beard and hair as well as brushing down the clothes he brought. "I have to ask why I've been called to this meeting, I'm just a tavern owner and I don't feel like I would fit in with a mass-murderer. I'd be willing to do what your eminence requires of me, but I was just curious." Eddrak asks in his heavily accented Dwarven tongue. The voice is associated with the working class Dwarves of this area. He doesn't looks much of a fighter, but the crossbow on his back looks deadly.

After unslinging her bow and laying it on the ground in front of her, she retrieves her holy symbol from a pocket at her side. After turning it over in her hands and muttering a prayer under her breath, she looks up and to the seer. Nodding in respect, she addresses her.

    "Thank you for this meeting and a chance to serve. What is it you'll have this servant do?"

    Yes I better get describing why I've called all of you here.I’m sure you’re all curious as to the details of your venture westward. After all the commotion that happened with the armies of Iuz, the typical adventurers who deal with this particular issue are hard to come by. I’ve been asked by the Viscount of Verbobonc through Greyhawk City for a favor. For political reasons he can’t be seen to be involved with any investigation regarding this matter. Something about there being spies everywhere… and Anyway, the Viscount currently has plausible deniability and we get to demonstrate our prowess to the people of the Greyhawk plain. I’m sure you all noticed the mentioning of the Evil temple?# She pauses looking the Deacon for reassurance and he nods

    Sorry, we have to be sure we’re not being scryed… This temple has a long history, 25 years ago cultists of Thurizdun, Scarlet Brotherhood? She checks with the deacon and he once again gives her confirmation.

    The Scarlet Brotherhood built a temple to Thurizdun, I’m not sure of the precise history but the cultists rose up, got beaten back by local adventures and subsequently the temple fell. This repeated 9 years ago and the Temple is apparently rising again, the brotherhood might even be closer now. They’re quite stubborn as fanatics often are. We require people of your calibre because they’re apparently closely tied to various supernatural forces. She stops and grabs a drink.

    The dwarf stokes his beard in an awkward fashion, as though he is not used to having such an elegant patch of facial hair. He coughs a bit,

    "Hmm, the Scarlet Brotherhood are our enemy? I wonder what type of men they are to act so brazen as to build a temple so close to where they are not wanted. Or, are they past comrades?"

    The dwarf starts to wonder.

    "History, a subject that has never been kind to my memory."

    He smiles and laughs a bit.

    "Pardon my insolence." Kina speaks for the first time since the meeting started, in calm, slow voice. She doesn't raise her head above. "Am I correct to assume our mission is to go and destroy that temple, alongside with slaying all the cultists, or are there other requirements we should take in consideration?"

    Laying back against the cushions lazily, Korwain decided he didn't much like the groveling woman. He yawns, then addresses the seer. Excuse me ,your grace, but if I am not mistaken, people of our caliber, do not sell their services cheaply.

    No, the Scarlet brotherhood has always been our foes, they just spring up from time to time and menace everyone. I don't think there's anything very much to consider, cwertainly no maids in distress.
