Thank all that is good. I am not learning to speak Bieberish.

Besides, I'm still trying to learn Ozzy. I think I'm about 75% proficient (that 75% is all words that would be censored on these boards lol)

    -snip; homework-
The scale on which it is involved may be different, but it is similar in many regards.

Bah, stop reminding me of all the things I haven't done for my classes.

    Heh, indeed.

Well, he speaks coherently when he knows what he's going to say... He still sings well. (I have it on good information that a great deal of British city-people mumble as a regular part of speech, so he's only really unique in how exceptionally incomprehensible his mumblings often are) :smallamusd:

English is foreign. End of story.

That would be true if I didn't use the same nickname in two places. Agh, curse, why did I choose to be FinnLassie here. *sad violin*

True, although it doesn't feel that way... I suppose I'm just used to it.

Bah, how many people can be in two places at once? Two, right? So, reasonably speaking, you only have one other person to worry about.

Sometimes I've had to listen to what he's said a second time to get it, but normally it isn't too hard. (I mean, I mumble and slur my words when I'm not paying attention too, so I'm not unused to hearing it)

It's a foreign concept for me though. English language, literacy, culture, it's foreign. Just as Finnish is foreign to you.

EDIT: The most spoken is true in terms of lingua franca, but as a native tongue it's only the third.

Aye, I find using English much more natural at times (especially as I now live in an English-speaking country), but it's still very foreign to me. Idioms, phrases, puns... Oh man, I have to ask my friend what it was that got him laugh so much when I didn't understand this one pun.

I think it's more being capable of hiding some things under anonymity, especially when I'd rant to some things relating to my uni course. Unfortunately as majority of the stuff is confidential and the course knows who I am online, it sort of feels meh. VERY meh.

Heh, wordplay is fun. I wouldn't worry too much about idioms; they come and go. I've heard people say things that are clearly cultural idioms that I'm not familiar with at all.

Pfft, there's no such thing as anonymity. I'm confident that there's enough information online for a sufficiently determined person to figure out who I am; that goes for everyone.

Well, you still could. The likelyhood of them checking here for you is pretty low. ...confidential? How? Aren't you studying to be a teacher? Somehow, that doesn't strike me as a particularly secretive line of work.

I actually agree - although I prefer baked to fried. But I coat it in my own blend of spices first (and I mean COMPLETELY coat it) and then the spices form this crunchy outer shell on the already yummy skin and it all ends up tasting pretty okay.

    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
    2. Take drumstick (or several drumsticks) and place in oven, preferably on some kind of baking pan or sheet. Or a pie tin. Anything that will both keep the chicken from touching the oven and contain the grease chicken tends to leak.
    3. Bake for 15 minutes.
    4. Coat in spices. My preferred mixture is one of Lawry's seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion salt, Jane's krazy mixed-up salt, and cayenne pepper, but those less accustomed to spice may wish to leave off those last two.
    5. You probably didn't coat the chicken well enough. Pour a bunch of spice onto the pan/sheet/tin and roll the chicken around in it. it should be rather discolored by the amount of spice you're using.
    6. Bake for a further 17-20 minutes.
    7. Consume.

Yes, but when I say stub, I mean stub. It's just a sentence that says: "Henry Smith Leiper (17 September 1891-22 January 1975) was a missionary." Which is sort of ... Really, really basic. I could expand if anyone is interested.

Yeah, I thought it was weird you, who had earlier said didn't care for music, asked me to elaborate upon my praise.
