Three Boars Inn (OoC)
Link sheets, choose speech color. I'd prefer if you roll in the IC (to avoid having to check 2 threads) but I'll have both bookmarked so it's not the end of the world if you forget. It's an OoC and I expect you all know what that means.
Sorry about the bit of a railroady start, just wanted a bit of a test of combat at the beginning. If you don't want to accept the job you can wait a day IC or try moving to another part of the inn.
The inn has multiple "areas" always kind of changing (a bit like the TARDIS in Dr. Who) and possibly multiple innkeepers (they all recognize you, have one eye and a raven, but that's all that's stable) and you could find another part with people in it if this doesn't appeal to you or if you don't want to do it at the moment.

It opens into many places and time. In theory if you went out a different exit you might end up in Eberron or Toril (ok not likely Toril... FR is not my favorite setting). Sometimes it appears as an entire building, sometime it just usurps doorways. Normally the inn will find you again without you trying to get back in some doorway will end up leading you back or you'll find it on the street. If you went out into Ravenloft things might be a little more difficult because of the nature of Ravenloft (hence the warning).

So, we essentially have more or less a plot-powered ability to get back. That's relaxing, I suppose. Getting stranded with no Plane Shift would suck.
But in that same light, I suppose the Demiplane of Dread has special rules about getting in and out. So I guess I'll have to refrain from being a dark queen of shadow and darkness in the land of the undead.

I approve of avoiding that hassle. At higher levels especially, it saves a lot of the time and effort of pretending to not know each other's capabilities in battle. This way, we can go into our first fight with the knowledge that Pardo is going to be in the thick of things with Kaylee's undead, and that Kaylee should stand behind just about everyone else.

Ben-zayb, your latest IC post makes it seem pretty clear that your character doesn't know the rest of us very well, and apparently just met us. Was that on purpose? I thought we had decided to say that we've all been working together for a while.

I assume that it's just there are so many possible permutations of groups doing mercenary job that Pardo might mix up names every now abd then. However, he pretty much knows most of them based on their personality and fighting styles rather than the specific names. He made a few close friends alonv the way, though most of them were fellow "Blood Knights" as well (birds of same feather stuff).

Possibly, but not that you know of.
You are aware of what seems to be at least 8 different innkeepers and presumably at least that many common rooms (assuming that when they change appearance they've just changed appearance and it's not actually a different room) but you can't really be sure. The Innkeeper(s?) himself claims not to know how big it is, "Sometimes I just seem to find new rooms." If I had to say I'd say it's TARDIS big.Peanut Half-Dragon Necromancer by Kurien.

On one hand, Pardo is more mobile than Titus so he could afford being further behind. On the other hand, he has the perception skills and the initiative. Would be nice if he has more charging space at the start of his turn, so he might take the second position.
EDIT: Uh oh. If we go by continuity, he already volunteered while Jack is half-relieved of the fact. If Jack's kosher with that, the lion will be at the lead position. He promises not to bother the gambler...the latter wouldn't even feel like Pardo was there in front at all.
