Re: Random Banter #196
Well, you know how girls have shorts that are basically a form of men's underwear? Something like that only for men and I threw them on because I couldn't be arsed to hunt down proper underwear. And less trousers and more cargo...khaki slacks?
Well, they always complain about women's clothing being made thinner and cheaper than men's clothing and resulting in tears and having to carefully layer and do stuff like that and so be either cold or hot as a result of the layers or lackthereof. I guess you guys managed to luck out with that given your climate.
That rarely? Wuff. And that's... That just sounds like a depressing food item.
Hmm. Yeah, it sounds like you've got the basic principles of a proper burger as known quantities. I guess the main question is how you treat the meat patties themselves. Hm. I wonder if worchestershire is a common component of seasoning the beef over there before cooking. Probably not, since it's viewed as more of a thing to add to cooked food rather than something like a pseudo-marinade like over here...
Yes, please do.
Hm. Such a complicated relationship between us, wouldn't you say?
A guido burger is, depending upon who you ask, a burger that feeds between 1 and 4 people depending upon how hungry they are. It's a local speciality of an Irish pub in the area that's basically an institution near the local University, and it's either a 10, 12, 14, or 16 ounce burger on a giant bun of an appropriate size for a burger that's a bit big, basically have to hold it with two hands, and it's piled thick with bacon and cheese and lettuce and tomato and I think grilled onions to the point where I have difficulty getting the whole thing in my mouth to the point where I usually don't bother and just do it in two layers per "bite."
It's pretty darn big, and as a teenager I've split one with a friend and had a nice meal out of it. It's so big you basically can't order it rare all the way through, IIRC.
It's named after the first person who ordered three of them or more and finished them on the spot, as I recall. Chap by the name or at least going by the moniker "Guido." My brosef made an impression back in the day when he was a chillen because he managed to eat two of them in a row as like... a 6 or 8 year old.

Re: Random Banter #196
Check the Internet...?
Speaking of your chair, couldn't you go ahead and purchase a better one?
Well, actually, the part that I posted was the only part that I remembered. I could look up the rest, but...

Re: Random Banter #196
And that's why if you're going to that much trouble of taking a trip into town just to look at the outside of the building then you at least take the time to register a formal complaint with management to vent the frustration partially. XP
Gonna fight some octopus goblins now.

They only open up at 6 in the evening? It's like a whole other country....
Presumably evil gods or whatever else goes around making aberrations. They're all dead now and we stole their scrimshaw.
You are the Truth.

Re: Random Banter #196
Nope, I'm cake.
It's a good game! I should have donated earlier, except I don't have means of paying for things online, so I had to set up a thing with my parents. (I pay them in cash, they pay an equal amount to my account for donating.)
Reading it is good enough. Just... thinking about the story. Damn, it's funny.

...Must...resist...obvious...retort...
Donating? Hm. That alters the deal a bit, I suppose.
Just randomly popped open MacBeth to laugh your butt off? So what's your favorite humorous component?
Dirty, dirty girl.

Re: Random Banter #196
I dun... nevermind. I probably don't want to know.
Well, if you donate you can get in-game things, so it's nice for me as well, but I mainly wanted to do it for donating reasons.
How clearly evil the Macbeths are.
I... what did I even say that somehow came around to me liking Benedict Cumberbatch?Spoiler: This signature is a historical relic from a long-ago time of regular forum activity.Aww man! Even all the witty self referencing sigs are gone now!

Beef cake... BEEFCAAAAAKE!

Well, you know, crazy is as crazy does.
Because it sounded dirty and then I just figured, well, I quoted it so why not link it? Also, did you just click?

I use braces (also known as "curly brackets") to indicate sarcasm. If there are none present, I probably believe what I am saying; should it turn out to be inaccurate trivia, please tell me rather than trying to play along with an apparent joke I don't know I'm making.

Re: Random Banter #196
I believe so, yes. He's a tricksy one, our Amidus, aye.
Well, I wouldn't go that far, that's a little bit harsh and I don't have all the facts to go on.
Sweet Lunita, never change.
I thought it was a band name in this scenario. Whoops. Now what am I going to do with these non-refundable tickets?!

Re: Random Banter #196
Oh, Jack Enderman, you're getting ahead of me. And yourself.
Just go back and rework it from first principles and don't add in any steps that aren't there, and I'm sure you'll be elucidated.
Mostly just being yourself and having things I say fly over your head. I mean, it's not that long ago that you managed to miss that I was talking about girls getting lost in the deep blue sea of my eyes back in high school because they were all finally noticing that I was decidedly a boy, and all that jazz. I know, hard to believe, so I can understand the confusion.
Sadly. They both really should be though. I'd filigree some kitties right about now myself. Heck, I'd probably filigree myself, or at least gilt trip myself.
A for effort, but a bit overeager. He got the middleman though, yes.
