You obviously haven't seen me shed hair. It's a lot, honestly, it's been thinning thanks to stress especially for the las two years (I used to have such thick hair... Bah! BAH!). I think the horror of all this also comes from how especially during first semester my hair was very long, and well, blonde sort of stands out from dark furniture and clothes.

    I'll break your scissors.

Oh, god, so many stories... I need to get the group together and go over the stuff they did from the beginning, just so I can write it all down.

    Among their "accomplishments" include:
    • Getting one player's character's killed several times. He died to: bounty hunters, a dragon, the party, and then twice in the same battle against the BBEG. (note: the first three deaths were all results of poor party decisions)
    • Stealing a child and sacrificing it in a pyramid because they couldn't think of any other way to move forward.
    • Billing three ressurections to a noble they were stealing from.
    • Cursing each other (mostly the bard)
    • Several incidents of robbery, including of a bank, and one or two highway robberies.
    • Pissing off some inevitables.
    • Pissing off a giant, and taking his castle (although they lost two party members to crits). The character that instigated the fight spent the entire combat on the ethereal plane.
    • "platinum"
    • "diamond seeds"
    • Dying in lots of hilarious ways.

Well, not quite. Horrible implies it was actively bad. Boring just means it doesn't really leave much of an impression.

It's taller than that; I was aiming low.

Well, I just got back from shopping.

Tried on a few dozen pairs of pants, returned a few library books, checked out a new one and a couple DVDs. It is frustrating how somebody already got the "Heroes of a Thousand Faces" book. I was really interested in reading it.

Why does it take 3 or 4 hours just to get 3 pairs of pants?

The last time littlest brother (whose name literally translates to "stone") had his birthday, he got a few nice crystals for presents, and reading the notes that came with them describing their properties was quite amusing for all the wrong reasons...

Fire is always a good enough reason to go outside. But right now being outside feels like a fire just from the sun. Forget the cake, all I want is ice cream or something else frozen. I had to move the iron outside to relieve some stress on the air conditioning.

I think I left the iron outside.

Today was a very nice day. So I decided to go outside for a little bit. When I tried to shut the front door behind me, it stuck. So I tried again. Still stuck. Then I opened it and saw that the reason it was stuck was that a bird had somehow gotten wedged in there right at the moment I was shutting the door. That bird was now flying around the inside of our house.

    We have a cat.

    SHE WENT ABSOLUTELY NUTS.

Between restraining Matilda and not wanting to allow any further wildlife into our house, it took us an half an hour to drive off that frikkin' bird. At least it didn't poop at all that we've found... so far. My mom couldn't get any pictures of him while he was in the house (she was on cat-restraining duty) but as soon as he was outside he went to our birdfeeder and she got this picture of the cheeky little fellow:

The poor bird got fed for its trouble. That is the best ending I have ever heard of to that kind of story.

My cat has decided that he needs to lay down on the lamp. I move the lamp and he moves and sits down on the LEDs again. It is getting dark in here.

Oh dear... I hadn't considered that. Just remember, that when you next go to the shop, we will be there with you, in spirit. Of course, now that I've said that, it sounds really creepy.

In that case, I shall endeavour to not be in the vicinity when it happens. I prefer my blood to remain on the inside.

I don't think we really had an ice age where I live... Far too subtropical. Though I have always found the layers of rock revealed by road cuttings to be fascinating.

Hehehe. I will remember these kind words when I encounter these margarin tubs.

The rest of my family has gone for holiday, so I'll have the house for myself for two days before I follow them. Now my time will be sunk into remembering complex tasks as eating and sleeping. I've finally started to appreciate Skalman's decision to invent the Food and Sleep Clock...
And even then, annihilation doesn't necessarily make them give up... Take Japan, for example.

You'd think those would be easy to remember, you know? I normally remember to sleep because I like to go to sleep at roughly 2am, but eating is on a much looser schedule, and sort of falls off to the side.

You're older than I am, so you're more likely to die first.

    COME AT ME, BRO!

I'm having trouble thinking of a time where they did something they thought through, ever. Hrm... well, the one dungeon... no, they explicitly left a key in a chest (as in, said they weren't going to take it) that they needed later. The... nope, not that one either. Heh I genuinely can't think of any situation where they made all good decisions. (although the whole "platinum" thing went off almost without a hitch... as did the "diamond seeds" one). The only things they thought through at all were the times they came up with a plan to get some ludicrous amount of money by lying to people.

    Sure, sure.

Oh! I hope he wasn't one of Kneen's special agents, who simply panicked when he was squished! That would be tragic indeed!

Only once in my lifetime has my party made a good decision, and that was in 2009 when they decided that it's ok to like my character as her suggestion was over 100%, giving many discounts. A lot of our plans relied on those discounts. We got sort of greedy and picky...

Just because I like making sweet things doesn't mean I eat them. Maybe a bite or two. It also needs a certain state of mind... I'm usually rather high on sugar when we've had our D&D campaign on, which has resulted in Olav (my fair, fair maiden, dwarf barbarian, loves her ponies ) doing something interesting... Or then me doing something stupid off game.

No, but it may arguably still constitute a loss.

I can remember entire courses without taking a single note, and do advanced head calculations on the fly, but figuring out when to eat has for some reason been completely outside of my grasp...

Sleep is easier, I say a time when I really must be in bed, and go to bed an hour later. Sadly, trying to trick myself by abusing this correlation doesn't work...

Hmm, I've never been that fond of coffee in pastries to start with, but anything with sugar in it goes, I suppose.

Only by a few years, and that's an average.

    PARRY! RIPOSTE! *taps on shoulder*

Hehehehe, excellent. My party consisted entirely of selfish, greedy bastards that were overly eager to screw each other over... unless they were clearly superior in combat (which was not always a big enough deterrent, although Faramel (the cleric) never got killed because of the party's stupidity. His own, however... ) or were capable of generating money.

    I never lose.

Well, I'm disciplined enough that I go to sleep when I want, unless something I'm doing keeps me up... I blame chat and PbPs for those times.

    Seconded.
