"PCs Need Prayer Badly"
Since I've been playing Asura's Wrath lately, and because game analysis is a hobby of mine, are there any games that have mechanics for PCs getting powers from being prayed to?
I can think of two off the top of my head: Exalted has the Cult background, and several Infernal Charms requiring dots in Cult, and Mythender has Terrorizing Mortals for Power, which usually results in prayer. I'm looking for other examples.Last edited by The Rose Dragon; 2013-07-25 at 11:12 PM.

the Immortals Handbook (BOO!! HISS!! I know, I know...) has rules for PCs gaining power through prayer and worship in 3.5, off the top of my head.

I would set up a way so that maybe they get special bonuses from a paladin or cleric class. For example, after 500 prayers you might get cure light wounds.
