Video Editor
Hi guys!
Just a quick one really. I have a short video on my iPhone and I'd like to add some music to it. Could someone recommend a good video editor that will let me do that please? Can be app/iPhone based or PC based provided it will work with iPhone videos.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Video Editor
Well, I used the standard Windows Movie maker for the few videos I did. It was easy to use and did the job. It can also export videos for Iphone/android/etc. (although I haven't used it for this)

Re: Video Editor
I've used Windows Movie Maker before, but when I wanted to do my most recent project I found I didn't have it on this laptop. So I googled myself onto one of those random "best free video editor" lists, as they exist for all types of software, and decided to try Shotcut.
So far I like it quite a bit. It's completely free and open source, available on Windows, Mac and Linux, the standard settings give a good file size to quality ratio, and if you lower the resolution from full HD to 720p it goes down further to about 10 MB per minute of film. (It's probably around the same for Movie Maker, but I don't remember.) Like in Movie Maker the audio track can be edited separately, and if you want to get fancy there is stuff like fade effects.
For my purposes I'm pretty happy with Shotcut.Last edited by Lvl 2 Expert; 2020-06-04 at 01:51 AM.
