Default New System: WIP, PEACH, ETC

So, I have this idea for a new fantasy rpg system.

It is based mostly on the d20 system, also drawing inspiration from some parts of D&D 4e and the D&D 5e playtest, and Pathfinder as well.

    Base Mechanic
Roll a d20. Add a modifier. Opponent does the same. Compare.

After choosing a Race, you must choose a Class. Your Class defines your base skillset, and you can make more defining choices within your class.

Alright. Tricky homebrew system question here. But it's a really important one for selling a system, an I would also say the most important one for MAKING a system.

What makes your system unique and innovative?

Note that this isn't "how does your system differ from system X." It's more the selling point: why and how, over ALL the other RPGs out there, will yours stand out?

    Ingredients

    2oz Djinn
    5oz Water
    1 Lime Wedge

    Instructions

Pour Djinn and tonic water into a glass filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Garnish with lime wedge. Serve.

(Note: It's not an entirely new system. It borrows heavily from D&D and Pathfinder. Heck, it's probably just a few alternate rules, but...)
I neglected to mention: PC's are special. Really special: Only PC's and powerful NPC's have multiple Innate Ability Points. IAP's can be changed into Magic Points, which are used to cast spells, or heal, or take extra actions.

If you're doing all opposed rolls, keep in mind that they are actually quite different from how PF and 3.5 d20 rolls typically work.
