So, Roomie1 was making a point to correct himself on pronouns. It felt so good! I even had a stranger using the right pronouns for me!

Just a shame that I put the equality symbol on the chalkboard in the -men's- restroom with the quote "Transgender and proud", and somebody took the time to scratch it out... Still, Getting Roomie1 to use the right pronouns is a win!

That's the best. When I had long hair (a long, long time ago) my (female) friends used to ask me what am I using to make it look so good, and I would say nothing, that's the point.

Finally got rid of a stupid headache that lasted all day Saturday <x.x> blasted thing. I get these stupid migraines so frequently <_ _>; sometimes I wonder if even if I fixed all the other problems in my life if I'd be functional just because of those stupid things. Blergh. But oh well, one thing at a time.

I also noticed a rather bizarre occurrence of late, and I think it's related to my medicine, but I can't be sure. Normally I consider myself bisexual, but lately I'm feeling frankly rather asexual. I see things that are supposed to be attractive, intellectually I know they're attractive and... < . .> I just don't care. Hot guys, cute girls, doesn't matter.

I'm not upset about it either, which is the part that's weird - but it's nice not being distracted. The only reason I think it's the medicine and not me is that it's been a rather sudden change and my medicine dose did go up just a few weeks ago; and I'm fairly sure people don't generally hit 30 and suddenly lose all interest. In fact I'm fairly sure that's pretty atypical.

Like I said, not complaining, it's just a bizarre occurrence that I've been kind of puzzling over. Just weird.

Spent a good chunk of the past two weeks trying to help BF's aunt (who, it might be useful to remind here, has huge economic difficulties like whoa, anxiety issues, is trans, and is at best tolerated by most of her family but doesn't receive any kind of support from them). Driving her at places - or planning to, then it gets cancelled at the last second and I instead try to call her to figure out if she'll be okay - and getting her groceries and stuff. Last time, she cancelled with just a text, and didn't respond to mine. She's already turned her depression toward herself, so I got worried and tried to call her, without success, for several hours, for she'd turned off her phone for unrelated reasons.
Honestly, while the most minor offense compared to the rest, that's one of the things that pissed me off this week. I can't magically guess if she'll do okay or if her state requires a trip to the hospital. Knowing she's not in the best of state, I can't just give up and go "what the hell, I'll do whatever else I was doing instead" and take the risk that she actually does need help at that very instant.
That's the point of the job I want to have; I want to do something to try and help, especially if it involves doing stuff that most people don't find glamorous. If you shut me down without an explanation, if you make me run the risk of not assisting a person in danger, understand that with my own psychological baggage, I'm not going to like it. You probably don't want me driving at your place every time you don't answer your phone.
Just a heads up. I don't need to hear about your life or personal info. Just explain why you're canceling. Don't send a text that can be interpreted in a dark way and NOT answer to the one I'm sending 2 minutes afterward. Please. Neither of us wants to be invasive. I just need basic communication.

Last note: you're a bit broken, I'm a bit broken, everybody's a bit broken even if they say they're not. There's a big difference, though, between being broken, needing to be fixed by someone else, and needing to be fixed at all (and that's assuming everybody CAN be "fixed"). I don't want to fix anyone. I just want to help you keep the ability to decide that. You've got to help me help you sometimes, and the help I'm requesting is, honest to God, tiny.

many migraine meds are anti-depressants which can cause decreased libido depending on what it is. obviously talk to your doctor.

Mine are anti-seizure meds hehe <._.> but I do take plenty of antidepressants <x_x> that's probably what it is. (I should add my psychiatrist warned me that was a possibility, I just didn't think I wouldn't mind or that it'd be so incredibly SUDDEN.)
