I really like those, especially the orc. Back in the day using two lines to thicken and 'humanize' (the limbs and such, using fill instead of solid lines, that is) oots styled avatars was almost frowned upon, overall the quality is excellent!

Also, I finally made myself a new avatar, the mustache will always endure; but this is more suited to said new themes.

SeptimusFabrius, keep up the good work the poses are great. Your bard with the lute/guitar though seems to have a layering issue, her hand is inside the board.

Allan Dotson, I'm diggin' Sabine's wing style and her tails gradient effect Out of curiosity though, why'd you go with two different colors on the inside of the wings? Her right matches her flesh and the left is a bit more tanned.

Oh, gosh. I posted that a while ago! It's one little flower pattern-thing copy-pasted a bunch and then put under the outline. I would show you, but I don't actually have that picture anymore! ^^;

No worries once you said under the outline I realized I've been doing that (facial hair and buzz cuts mostly). You'll have to make a tutorial on making patterns for those of us who can't though

They remind me strongly of 1920s Inkblot Merrie Melodies cartoons, yet still manage to keep in line with the Giant's style. If that's what you were going for, great job.

It wasn't really, but I don't mind the comparison. It might have something to do with the turn of the 20th century-esque costume. Also my preference for making things bouncy and dynamic as I can.

You could try lots of different little pointy shapes of a few colors overlapping the ones below...

Try differing the shape and spacing of the jagged shapes to give less of a sawtooth appearance. The OOTS winter wallpaper has a pretty good example in Haley' hood and Durkon's earmuffs and beard.

Random thought: Do elves get frostbite on the tips of their humongous windcatcher ears? What would earmuffs for an elf look like?

Thog shall haunt my nightmares (it's the underwear ) I really like Therkla They're two of my favorite characters in the series - I've always been an orc fan though.
Will you be doing alternate outfits for any of the characters? Like V when (s)he's soul-spliced as an example, that'd be cool
