    "Knock em dead, elf."

And it looks like the Orders gained a new ally. Or lost an enemy. Either way, that's a lot better than they've been doing lately.

And I don't see nale in that inbox.

Oh my god, "Rub, rub rub my father's face in my uselessness!" is sublime. The expression on Tarquin's face!

Looking forward to seeing what Sabine does down the road -- and what V does next strip. "Knock 'em dead" indeed.

So, time for V to prove why he has to be kept out of combat situations for the sake of the tension? I think so

Yeah, Lee's about to garner a rather large amount of fringe benefits from this situation.

...also, it seems as though the fiends, once they decide to take their time with V, must use it all at once. So they can only call her back a maximum of two more times, probably.

Interesting new strip. Confirms the "the army won't retreat because Tarquin will do bad things to their families" theory.

Also, is this the first time we have seen Haley get off 4 arrows per round?

I think it was an orc with a beard.

Presumably, the cavalry will be coming in 919?

Also, Tarquin looks rather peeved at the moment.

Unlikely. Lee is the Lawful Evil fiend (as evidenced by him receiving the souls of soldiers who follow an evil dictatorship), and Thog is pretty much as Chaotic as one can get.

Also, best strip in the past few ones. "Rub, rub, rub, rub my uselessness in my father's face!" Classic.

The 5th panel with Elan's singing and Haley's arrows killing everyone, along with Tarquin and Miron's expressions was hilarious. Last panel was also funny, in a different way.

Time to see what V's going to do, now.

This seems ominous... It seems Lee's at least getting most of the souls from this battle. What could he be planning?

Yeah, I'm really not sure if even V is going to be of much use if Tarquin, Laurin, and Miron decide to take a more active role in things... which the sudden appearance of a wizard may necessitate.

    V!!! You're back. Thanks giant.

Also, thanks for making it clear that he still owes the fiends more time and they can call him down at will. I wonder if V will share all that has happened with the rest of the party.
