Though I'd say they wouldn't exist. If the mother is an elf, the baby would be too thick (yes, thick) for natural birth, and if the mother is a dwarf, the baby would be too tall.

Yes, it is. However, a better thing is a half-drow half-shadow dragon shadowcaster. Somewhat useless, but all shadow-y.

Did you mean applying half-dragon to drow (when it would be half-dragon drow) or applying half-dragon to a half-drow (when it would be a drow whose other parent was half-drow, other parent was a dragon). Both are very doable as NPCs though the LA would be quite crippling as a player character.

Actually I've decided that a half-elf / half - dwarf would look pretty much like a human. Tall and lanky, meets short and stubby = medium height and average.

I've always thought it'd be funny to make elf+dwarf=human. Take that "interesting backstory", you just jumpee though a lot of hoops for nothing!
