Streets of the Town XIII

The Heavily armed ork now walks towards the slums, not letting its guard down.

Svadris returns from the woods and goes into Trog's.

Regiji awakens and begins going about his morning routine. Shower. Get dressed. Pet Boru and retrieve food and water for him. Pray in the Chapel of the Monolith. Normal everyday stuff. He steps onto the white symbol in the middle of the floor and vanishes.

Regiji appears in the middle of the snow covered, vacant lot near the public library. After considering his plans for the day he heads off toward Trog's. He doesn't stay long, noting the almost complete lack of patrons. Rather he orders a mug of hot chocolate and, as usual, promptly pays with a single gold coin. He thanks the NPC bartender and wishes her a happy day.

After finishing the mug he heads back outside.

"Hmmm..." Regiji ponders what his next course of action will be. "Wonder if Earin is back yet..."

He walks off toward Goldshadow Psionics while whistling a merry tune.

Lillah leaves her house and heads to Trog's.

Salner walks down the street and heads towards the beach.

Aerin comes out of Alarra's, leading Thud. She heads for the police station.

Thud follows Aerin.

Aerin opens the station door. Go inside and wait for me, she tells Thud.

Thud goes inside.

[Gemini]

The sign still sways back and forth.

"Come join the Heaven's Exiles, mercenary guild! Located on the outskirts of town. We are recruiting members."

Aerin follows Thud inside.

[Lord Magtok]

SASO heads to Trog's in the hopes of getting a drink, without having to worry about some madman randomly hurting people when he gets there.

[Gemini]

Gemini walks into the streets.

[AmberVael]

Aesa walks out after him.

[Gemini]

"We are heading for the temple of Inari. I have some unfinished business there." Gemini heads for the temple of Inari.

[AmberVael]

What buisness might that be? Is that the temple I saw when I first came here? Aesa walks at his side.

[Gemini]

"We're getting a contract with them."

[McBish]

The mutt exits the station and starts to patrol the streets.

[Gemini]

Gemini walks to trogs.

Aesa comes out of Inari's and follows Gemini, twirling her rod idly.

SASO telekinetically drags Rebonack's NPC gang into the station.

[Rebonack]

Regiji steps out into the Streets, looking significantly less chipper than he had upon entering Goldshadow Psionics. He trudges along kicking a snowball.

Don't let it get to you, Regiji. Outsiders never understand the Path.

"Is that all there is to it, Sal?" Regiji responds despondently. "Maybe she's right. Maybe everything I've done here is just a cold, heartless exercise. Maybe the ties I feel aren't really friendships because I know good will come of them."

He kicks the snowball again.

"I've never befriended anyone outside the Flock before. I don't know Earin or Shea or Hawk very well yet, but the way I feel about them... feels the same as I feel about my siblings back home. Maybe just knowing that there's a purpose in it all invalidates it. I don't know..."

Regiji sits down in mid-air to think.

After pondering his next course of action for a time Regiji finally decides what he's going to do.

"Shift me over to Destro's secret underground lair. I never got to ask how he liked his gift."

Very well. Shifting in 3... 2... 1...

Regiji vanishes.

SASO leaves the police station, and waits around in the streets in the hopes he'll somehow telepathically detect random sub-plot criminal in Town.

[Kenyon]

While SASO waits in the streets, a man who suspiciously looks like Lex Luthor runs past him, pulling behind him a pair of trays holding 40 pies. Another man in a stereotypical baker's costume is giving chase. "Help! Help! Lex Luthor took forty cakes! That's 40 cakes! That's as many as four tens! And that's terrible!"

What the-?

To baker: Fine I'll help.
SASO attempts to telekinetically trip the theif.

[Krystal_Tiger]

A half white dragon, half moon elf, with a fariy dragon on her staff walks from the woods, and into sneaks milk bar, letting out a long, long yawn on the way.

[Thriss]

Thriss walks along the streets towards the psionics guild. He reaches it and walks inside.

[Kenyon]

Lex is tripped up, and the carts go end over end, leaving a big mess of Luthor and piecakes. And that's terrible.

[Lord Magtok]

The pies/cakes/whatever are telekinetically rebuilt by SASO, and given to the baker. SASO next attempts to toss the crook into a jail cell in the station, by telekinetically opening both station and jail door, and closing both after the criminal is locked up.

There you go.

With his job done, SASO heads to Destro's house to see if there's any new news on the Nine.

Hawk leaves the station, heading to Trog's.
