I believe he wanted to share the dangers of expecting players to provide background information for the less traditional characters they might want to play. In this case, a Half-Dragon, since the player seems to have provided somewhat inappropriate material concerning the relationship of a humanoid woman and a red dragon.

You'd hope that such things would not be included (in anything but the vaguest, "they fell in love, and in the fullness of time there was a child" sort of way) unless specifically encouraged, but hey. I guess everyone's sense of propriety is different.

While I have had some violence in my back story (she was a ninja, I described in some detail the aftermath of her first kill) and one case of nudity (the character was a raven familiar transformed into a halfling, clothing not included) I don't think I have ever included actual sex in a backstory. I can understand why one would want to include details as to why this unusual joining occurred but fade to blac,k dude (or dudette), fade to freaking black!
Still, I agree you did set this up for yourself by accepting an erotic backstory in the past. This did rather set a precedent.

That said, most backgrounds don't get into graphic details about such matters.
