Simple question: Can I use a stance or maneuver from the Tome of Battle if I'm using a weapon not listed by the relevant Maneuver Path?

Example: Using a katana and a stance from Shadow Hand.

Yes, you can.

Yes you can. I think that the only thing really associated with the discipline weapons are a couple of feats, like most of the bits from Shards of Granite. Apart from that, it's really all for flavor; you wouldn't expect someone who focuses on Stone Dragon to dual-wield kukris, but a true master of it can make something out of such things. A Diamond Mind specialist needn't only use rapiers and katanas, after all.
