    Well, THAT happened. Go Julio go :D Frankly, at this point, Tarquin's only options seem to retreat or get skewered. (My soft spot for him as a character would rather the former, but I don't mind either way)
    Quick note, apparently Laurin also had a backup getaway spell. And what was Durkon's spell/attack there?

    Probably just the standard vampire slam attack. He's said a few times now that he's out of spells.

    I didn't notice it at first either, but she reappears some distance away, so it's some sort of short-range dimension doorish escape psionic power (i'm not really familiar with psionic rules).

    Yep, you can see the darker sand under him, V and Laurin compared to the more distant background.

    Yay!

    Things I love about My Two Dads:

    1. Blackwing in panel 4 gets an "Awww!" from me.

    2. Scoundrél's puns are way more sophisticated than Elan's. Bonus points for precision pun in last panel.

    3. Seeing Laurin *pop* way off in the distance.

    4. Seeing Elan explain the nuance of his narrative mastery to Roy while resisting the "Now we're blood brothers! Hooray!" that I just know is there under the surface.


    Am worried about Belkar, and Bloodfeast the Extreminator, though.
