Kriv can't move because he is restrained. If he could move, though, he could move between those two squares.

I also moved Sven back to the edge, since he made his save vs hazardous terrain, which I believe is correct unless I missed something.

Oh, is Draj really that low? If so, then I will cash in my Move for a Minor, and throw an Inspiring Word on Draj.

    Minor: Inspiring Word on Draj
Draj gets to spend a Healing Surge and gets the following benefits:
    1. Healing Surge Value (15) + 2d6 + 7 hit points = [rollv]2d6+22[/roll] HP
    2. Roll a Saving Throw
    3. +1 bonus to attack with ranged/area OR +1 bonus to defend against ranged/area until end of my next turn.
    4. Shift 1 OR gain +2 bonus to AC & Reflex until the start of their next turn

Just for reference, Sathris's super defenses only apply to OAs made specifically in response to Deft Strike's movement. (And the Artful Dodger bonus (AC only) to all OAs.)

Now we have an interesting situation here. Sven is prone, dazed, and restrained while partially over a pit. What happens to him?

First of all, he's over the pit. He needs to move or squeeze to avoid falling into it. He can't move, since he's prone and restrained. That leaves squeezing. Squeezing takes a move action, which Sven can spend.
However, he may be prevented from falling by being restrained. Restrained doesn't specify why someone moves, just that they can't.

My thought is to say that Sven can teeter on the brink and still make an attack, albeit with a penalty, mostly because a giant mutant thrashing around while being grabbed by vines is cool.

    Opinions?

Did he save from being pushed into the pit completely by the Howling Wall? If he didnt, I still have an action point.

Also: Restrained cannot move, but it can BE moved, if you can drag them around by brute power...

You can redo your turn, since it's a bit pointless in light of that.

What I'm trying to figure out is if he needs to spend a move to squeeze or not.

I don't think you can actually do that with only the one slide that hit, since P18 and Q18 are both occupied and the only other ways to get here there would take more than the slide given by howling wall. If both had hit you could, though.

I didn't anticipate it being as difficult as it seems to be to push things into the pit.

Also, please remember to put the effects that you apply in the status box. I just put the Slow from Howling Wall on her.

Huh. Kriv, Wizened Hag and the Green Hag were in different places when I posted. Is this what the battlefield looks like -before- my turn? because I may need to alter my wall positioning.

No, it's after your turn. I'm pretty sure Kriv has been in the same place, although he may have been moved temporarily before I reminded Meltheim he was restrained.

Yeah. After the comments re: Dominate it's not nearly as useful since the way it's worded it only takes effect on your turn, so I'm not too concerned about it.

I hope you don't think I meant you're not allowed to use dominate. It's just a lot more dramatic when it can effectively take you out of the game for a day or two as opposed to maybe a half hour if it's a really long combat. Something to consider in encounter building maybe, but I wouldn't say you have to pretend it doesn't exist.

    @Team:
I can coup de gras for 34+2d6. If you can beat that, or come close enough to it that you think it's better than risking the save, feel free to take it. Be careful not to hit her otherwise, it breaks on damage.

I'm all for a coup de grace. Would actually be the first one I witnessed in 4e :)

That said, doesn't it have to be bloodied value or higher for a straight up kill? I'm sure that the hag's bloodied value is higher than 46.

Quite so, and this is where a charge cheese Barbarian ally from nowhere would be rather handy. :P

Coincidentally I did realize I can do a bit more (for some reason I was thinking it was only At-Wills you could coup de gras with.) Looking at 46 + 2d6 actually. And while that still may not be the instant kill, it's a precursor to Sathris doing his blender impression. :D
