The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
This is the out of character thread for my game, The Wilds of Sapuera. Everyone should take this time to say what colortext you will be using for in-character speech, and saying anything you need to say. Basically everything not in-character. IC thread will be up soon.

IC THREAD
One concern I have: there were no submissions for "cleric" type characters, meaning the party will have no healer. If you want, I can make some sort of NPC/DMPC to serve this role, if it's needed. Don't worry, I won't make him/her into a Mary Sue.

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
I'm claiming dark olive green!
As for the lack of cleric problem, we have a few potions but that's about all. An NPC cleric or healer might be prudent. At least until we can get a wand of CLW or something. Meanwhile, I will be reading everyone's sheets; I like what we've got going on here!

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
Téméraire speaks in dark orange.
Dragon Shaman gets a healing ability at 6th level, so if you wanted to make us inexplicably powerful, you could just, you know...

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
I'll go with Dark Orange
Or not :) Reselecting Blue as my IC color
I have a Healing Belt (MIC) 3 charges a day 2d6 of healing per charge or burn additional charges at the same time for +1d6. Not exactly a cleric but it'll do in a pinch. I think that along with some additional potions and CLW wand we could be at the very least okay for some adventuring.Last edited by Barnaby Jones; 2013-12-18 at 05:41 PM.

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
Loneseeker will claim purple.
Like Jones, I have a healing belt. Should help in a pinch.
Also, is there any possibility of using roll20 in this group?

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
Two healing belts, so 6d6 healing a day, avg 18 points, across 5 players, I think its manageable but far from ideal. And the Dragon Shaman gets healing in another 3 Levels by then we may have a couple more healing belts *nudges the RHS* and be totally dedicated healer class free party.

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
Can we possibly make more purchases or healing items before the game starts, Harbinger?

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
And Andrew shall speak in Turquoise. As to the cleric problem, yeah we have a few item's for now. Eventually we can buy a wand, but the only person here with the Use magic device skill is Barnaby. So as long as he doesn't mind putting a few points into that we should be fine.
Also oh yeah, with scrolls of CLW I can make healing belts at a cheaper price. I should probably also buy some Cure minor wounds for blessed bandages, it will save us the trouble. There's also a few other item's I can potentially make to help. Overall for now its probably just "Avoid getting hit". Especially for me, I'm pretty much the epitome of paper bag.Last edited by runhidesurvive; 2013-12-19 at 02:26 AM.

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
Depends on your definition of "Totally fine" :P
Like totally fine as in the only have the normal problems a fledgling town might have or as in they're doing really good? Also before it happens I'm calling evil necromancer hiding in the town.

Three and a half gil on the town not actually existing, and it's all a trap by the town that's hiring us because they are all cannibal cultist demons trying to eat us and steal our souls.

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
Also who's going to carry the map? Do we need any special skill to read it?

Ah. Nobody has a very good survival do they? I guess I could take the map unless Barnaby wants to.

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
Post your actions in any order you want, I'll resolve it when I next post. Téméraire doesn't act this round, and is last in the initiative order in the rounds that follow.

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
I forgot to mention: I'm imposing a rule that if you don't post within 24 hours during a combat, I assume you do nothing during your turn. This is to prevent combat from slowing down the game too much.

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
I would've committed the map to memory by taking 10 with an autohypnosis check first chance I got. So if Harbinger okays it that I did that previously, then I've got it on recall, if not I'll do that first chance I get in character. But we'll say you've got the map at the moment.
I like the rule Harbinger! Keeps the game flowing.
Edit: Sorry forgot to check before I posted >_< who did you want doing rolls?Last edited by Barnaby Jones; 2014-01-03 at 12:03 PM.

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
Most things you roll. Attack rolls, damage rolls, etc you roll. If you want to make a roll (like a knowledge check or some other skill check) you can roll it. If there's something I don't want you to know for sure the result of (Spot checks, etc) I'll roll it. And yes, the autohypnosis is fine.

I was just checking so I know to move back next round. 10 AC makes me a really easy target.

Re: The Wilds of Sapuera (OOC thread)
If we move in to attack, will we be affected by the sticky floor?
