    Agreed; that gets both things.
Why should a man be scorned if, finding himself in prison, he tries to get out and go home? Or if, when he cannot do so, he thinks and talks about other topics than jailers and prison-walls?

1009: Roy finally understands that "Durkon" is not Durkon.

Regarding the earlier strip, I disagree with all of you. Wrecan's intervention is just a detail. This feels like the discussion we had about the adamantine arrows, which turned out to be of no importance. Not a big deal, though. The will of the majority prevails, as it should.

Gwynfrid's summary of 1011 is better, but I'd prefer something like: "The demigod vote ties with one uncounted; 'Gontor' enters the airship" for 1012.

All updated, and I'm thinking it may be time to break the undifferentiated mass of Book 6 strips down into a more manageable spoiler chunk. I'm thinking book start to 981 for book start and Haley and Bandana vs. Crystal, and then 982 to current for the Godsmoot?

    Makes sense.

You have a couple too many words at the end of the sentence for 1012. Also, for 1008 I suggest "Durkon" with double quote marks, for consistency.

Those seem likely to line up with the round breakups when this book hits print, so I think that's a good way to go, Daggerpen.

I think it's more likely that the first round is actually going to end on 963, and that we're in the third, or maybe even fourth, right now. But I don't suppose it matters that much.

    I would suggest:

947-963: On the Mechane through stormy weather.
964-982: Crystal and Bozzock meet their ends in Tinkertown.
983-992: What "Durkon" was looking for.
    993-?: The Godsmoot.

I suspect the fact that he's going against (the spirit of) the High Priest's orders is a bit more important than the rats, so I would propose:

1014: "Gontor" finds a loophole in his orders, and grabs the Teleportation Orb.

That's a surprising idea to me. I think the rats are more memorable and spectacular (and thus more helpful when looking up a strip in the present thread), while the vampire finding a way to drink some blood when he isn't supposed to is a minor footnote.

Does anyone else think along unbeliever's lines?

Well, the rats seem like they'll probably be dealt with in the next strip or two, while the draining of the tiger I expect to be somewhat more significant, and hence more memorable. Plus, the rats are in the actual title.

Nice way to stuff everything in without making the thing overly long. But our standard is to use the present tense, so:

1014: Rats! "Gontor" finds a loophole, steals the Teleportation Orb.

To be fair, I only had the single quotes in there due to conventions on nested quotation marks.
