Grit's Tavern (Hamlet)

[Kyral]

"And how have I made you suspicous?" Atriuls slowly unsheathes his knife. "Is handing a flyer to you enough to make you angry?"

[AmberVael]

Put your knife away, boy. It wouldn't do you any good.
Nial swallows a gulp of ale and ignores his questioning.

[Kyral]

Atriuls laughs at the choice of words. "Boy. Hehe." He unsheathes the knife with a ringing sound and spins it in his hand by the hilt. "You've made me angry now, you pitiful fool."

[AmberVael]

Nial looks at him with a hint of disdain.
I don't believe I need to fight you.

[Kyral]

"Now, calling me a mad man isn't really the best way to go about not fighting me."

[AmberVael]

Don't take offense at the truth.
Nial finishes off his beer and turns around to face Atriuls, still sitting down.
Look, I've stared death in the eye more than once, gotten to know guy pretty well. I usually know when I'm gonna meet him again, and it ain't now. Shut up and sit down before you get hurt.
Nial's eye remains on him, eyeing his every move.

[Xaspian]

Seran walks over.

Please visit our chapel, worshippers of any gods welcome.

He pushes a leaflet towards Atriuls and Nial, grinning obliviously.

[Deadly]

Schnick walks in, a bit hurried and looks around. Seeing the statue is still there he looks relieved and walks over to sit next to it. A large mug of Dragonbite Bitter and some dried buffalo meat, please. he says and searches his pockets for coins

[Kyral]

Atriuls snickers. "I, as a god, have been death to many. And I'm not even sure if death can get hurt." He takes a step forwards just as Seran pushes a leaflet into his hand. He looks down at it with a raised eyebrow and thumbs through it. "What?"

[Xaspian]

Seran looks at Atriuls.

Are you a follower of any religion, sir?

[AmberVael]

Nial shakes his head and looks down at the leaflet with anothe scowl.

[Deadly]

Schnick counts his remaining money with a frown while drinking his ale

[Kyral]

Atriuls chuckles. "D'you mind if I don't answer that?"

[AmberVael]

Nial stands up and goes outside. He leans against the wall and listens to everyone in the tavern.

[Xaspian]

It's your afterlife ...

He turns and hands a leaflet to Schnick

The gods can be your friends!
He sounds as if this is a catchphrase of sorts.

Schnick sighs and leans against the statue You know what, dear? This is turning out to be our least successful adventure yet. Unless there's some kind of miracle we're actually going to lose money from it, and we didn't even get what we came there for. he mutters, obviously directed at the statue

He then takes the leaflet and looks it over

[Xaspian]

The leaflets advertise the recently arrived chapel, explaining the various services it offers. It also contains a small note on the back asking for donations to the construction cost.

Seran stands there, smiling.

[Deadly]

Schnick smiles and looks up from the leaflet Thanks. I'm afraid I'm a bit low on funds right now, but I'll keep it in mind. I'm sure I'll be needing your services a lot once poor Stick gets depetrified. he says and folds the leaflet before pocketing it

[Xaspian]

Seran bows slightly, and hands leaflets to other patrons of the tavern.

[Deadly]

Schnick finishes his ale and walks outside.

[Lord Magtok]

"Joe" comes out of a coma, and heads out the door.

[AmberVael]

Nial sighs and sits down, waiting.

[Xaspian]

Seran, having run out of leaflets, leaves the tavern.

[Deadly]

Schnick walks back inside and looks around, wondering about all these strange people showing up in such a tiny place. Now that's a mystery... perhaps I should look into it. he mutters to himself

[Kyral]

Atriuls yawns and waves to Shnick. "Ahoy. I've finished the inn, at last."

[Deadly]

Schnick smiles I saw. I've been meaning to come by and rent a room, since sleeping where you stand is a bit uncomfortable, but every time something's gotten in the way it seems.

[Kyral]

"Alright, then. I'll give you a dis-" He stops himself halfway through 'discount'. "-proportionate room. Yes. A little larger than most rooms."

[Deadly]

That sounds nice. I guess I might as well pay you now, how much would a room cost?

[Kyral]

"Three silver a night for a one-bed room." Atriuls stands. "Come to think of it, I should make the fact that there's an inn in this town even more inescapable."

[Deadly]
