    Finally the wait is over.

    I love Durkon's mom. Just right up saving that guy like that.

    And, Rich, I don't know if you know this, but in many germanic languages (specifically the saxon tongue of Beowulf), the word for sun (or one of them, at least) is Skycandel, sky-candle; like a torch. So, little Durkon calling it the torch in the sky could be actualy correct in some old languages. And sunnan is used in Beowulf to refer to the sun.

    What's that sky candle?

    It's the skycandel.

    Also, I love the word Yarf. And I just realized that Durkon's mom has only one arm. Whoa.

    So High Priest of Hel manifests as a shadow Durkon next to trapped soul-of-Durkon when accessing memories?

    I predict at some point an epic soul-on-soul battle. Two Durkons enter; one Durkon leaves.

    And, surprising no one, Durkon's mom was a bad-ass. And humble.

    Looks like we're in for establishing how this whole dark spirit thing works. A fairly grim start to the book.

    Wow - I don't really notice art upgrade, but this is just mindblowing [And I thought that the OotS art is pretty much top-awesome recently...]

    Also nice to see some of Durkon's past [Up to the last row I assumed the Order had a really short trip to the Dwarven lands... ]

    That was nice. I'm liking the art upgrade, too.

    Also, Durkon's mom is pretty strong for only having one arm.

    I also realise the pages are a bit larger than six weeks ago. Should improve readability.

    Also I like that young Durkon already has chin whiskers.
