Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf VII Acting It Out
No, the police know each other, though the wording is a tad confusing.
Random wanted a way to verify his successor. Normally this means a Mason making a claim.
But how do we know the Mason is telling the truth?
Normally we wait and see if there's a counterclaim. Then we know. (although lapses in participation make fake role claiming quite viable at times when the actual roles aren't paying attention)
Random created a quick topic. His successor, if and when they appear, they can link to the quick topic, and since we know Random is a mason, the new Mason's claim is ironclad.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf VII Acting It Out
End of Night 1
One officer down, one to go
The officer hums to herself. Alexia always did like the opera. Regardless of what happened to Joseph, this place had many good memories for her. A pity that those memories are about to have a darker addition. The shadowy figure approaching her from behind will see to that.

Carruthers, a man with some mojo,
Saw the dead cops, one a man, Joe.
He looked round the room,
Now an excellent tomb,
And said, "Get that fool with the banjo."Last edited by Penguinator; 2014-04-28 at 10:07 PM.

((For some reason my heart is telling me
Penguinatorlooks fishy. Really just a hunch, and I can't explain why.))
Banjo the cleaner wanders around, grumbling at anyone who looks like they're even half-ready to listen. "Police these days, what a waste of time. Going and getting themselves killed, you never saw that in my day. They spent their shifts in donut shops, much safer. And tastier, I should think."Last edited by banjo1985; 2014-05-01 at 02:55 AM.

Voting for Tasroth, because random votes are not helpful right now. We've lost two police officers already...

I'm curious about
Rain Dragon, because if it turns out he's a wolf, yesterday's votes give a lot more information.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf VII Acting It Out
Well we've certainly got a start on the petty bantering of an opera troupe down.
Someone care to elaborate whyTasrothis worth a bandwagon? I'll join it for lack of prospects, but I'd like to know what we're going for.Last edited by Legato Endless; 2014-05-01 at 12:42 AM.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf VII Acting It Out
An OMGUS vote means a vote against someone who voted for you. And yes, it's for 'Oh My God You Suck' for voting for me. I mean, if your vote analysis can't be trusted to figure out that I am obviously Town, then it can't be trusted for anything else either, right?
And yes, I'm a bit confused about Tasroth. I voted for at least some sort of a reason, myself.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf VII Acting It Out
It was pretty much, "I can't figure anything obvious from Day 1 except our masons wouldn't have pointed at other masons, and in a game this small (and implied in the narration) there may have only been the two of them, so go for the other bandwagon from yesterday." I hadn't thought it out, but Murska is right. We can get more information if Rain Dragon is a wolf.
But meh, I'm just a villager so at least if you lynch me we don't lose another power-role. Though that's not to say that lynching villagers is a good thing...What do you mean "Dungeon Master" isn't a proper job?

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf VII Acting It Out
This response is bit weird, kind of defensive. Possibly a terminology disconnect, but I've normally heard bandwagoning referring to one player adding their vote to another, at least informally. Also, wouldn't you want a bandwagon? If you're voting for someone, you're usually hoping you're going to lynch them, which requires other people. Also the emphasis seems to plead innocence on your part while slightly add suspicion to me.
Anyway, I didn't really want to do this, but I see little alternative that don't involve unfortunate risks.
Rain Dragon is Town. I know this, because we're partners/lovers. (André and Firmin)
Had we more info to work with, and I could believably steer things in another direction I would, but happening this early on doesn't give much wiggle room. It's better for us to eat a wolf kill tonight than to waste a town lynch.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf VII Acting It Out
Um, while I'm on board with the "don't lynch the lovers" thing, I'm just going to point out that a huge bandwagon on me and almost no votes for anyone else isn't very informative.
So I'm going to switch toPenguinatorin an attempt to start a second bandwagon.Last edited by Tasroth; 2014-05-01 at 05:37 AM.
