The Lichway Dungeon Crawl OOC

Welcome to the OOC thread for the classic dungeon crawl! I'll be running the Lichway dungeon. A simplified background is as follows:
The sandlanders tribe buried their dead in a crypt known as the lichway, but it was destroyed by lizardmen who drove away the tribe. Now, a female wizard named Dark Odo and her followers have headed in that direction. You wish to loot the lichway and take the sandlanders' vast wealth for yourself.
Characters are as follows:
Brenthion: Brenthion Aleslammer, Dwarven fighter
Esorscher: Podig, Halfling Rogue
Yas392: Hari, Human Monk
Snoiepix: Nim Ferdoc, Human Wizard
D20 Miscreant: Orrik Kelson, Human Cleric
Could everybody pick a color for marking their character on the map, and make sure I know their default action. I'll post the IC tomorrow evening and then we can get started. See you then.

I'll choose orange as my speech color and marker color on the map.

Brown for the color of the soil.

I'll take Blue as my color. My default action in combat would be to stay back, shoot crossbowbolts everywhere and if i run out, smack people in the head with my staff.

I'll be posting the IC in an hour or two hopefully, i'm waiting for d20 miscreant's colour so I can put the characters on the map. I may start earlier but not post the map, or post it unfinished. It would also be nice to know marching order, but i'll presume the combat classes stay at the front and the spellcasters stay towards the back when possible.

I'll take the frontline. I'd suggest me and the cleric up front in two-abreast situations. me in front and cleric in back in single file situations. Open to opinion and discussion about it though

I'll take green as my color. And I'll agree with you, Brenthion, I'll stand to your side when we can, or behind you in single file situations. I have to keep on my toes, though, since Orrik is a little on the squishy side.

Also, quick question: do you guys have any preference for if/when we encounter undead? Would you rather have Orrik turn them right away, not at all, or try and back them in a corner?

After all, Orrik isn't a Pelorite; he has no problem turning them or beating them with a stick.

Also, not sure if you guys saw my edited post up there but I was asking about how you all wanted to handle me turning undead.

My vote is for you to try and back them into a corner so that our smashers can smash them while they cower in fear. If they run away we will just run into them again later in the dungeon.

All post at once, but put down what you do in case you suddenly can't do something, due to your target in battle being killed, etc.

I'm a little confused as to the layout of where we are. Is there another door off of the prison cells, or do we have to backtrack, if so, what routes are open to us?

There is a room to the south, from which loud bestial noises are coming from.
Your other options are:
From the guard room there is a door going to the east.
From the entrance there is a room to the east, beneath a raised gate, which you propped up with a boat.
