Manual of The Planes Questions
1. Is there a 3.5 version? My copy is 3.0 and filled with Intuit Direction and Read Lips and such.
2. How solid are the monsters? I like a lot of them but some of them seem a bit off, such as the CR 6 demon with desecrate at will and a 2d6 minute paralyzing bite. That said, I know nothing about creating monsters so I could just be wrong.Dub Club in the Playground

Re: Manual of The Planes Questions
There's a MotP 3.5 update booklet available for download on the WOTC site. That should cover most of the intuit direction and scry skill quibbles.
Most of the monsters in MotP are either poor examples of downright lazy design (the knock-off para-elementals, the element creature templates, etc.) or ropey rehashes of planar beings from previous editions (the Astral Dreadnought, Genies, Yugoloths and the like). Bad case of "deadline frenzy" evident in that chapter.
DiceFreaks does the monsters of the infinite planes much better IMO.Last edited by bosssmiley; 2007-02-17 at 05:36 PM.

Re: Manual of The Planes Questions
Specifically, it's here: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20030718a
And you're right. Planar Handbook is not a "3.5 Manual of the Planes" for the reasons you stated. The Future just ain’t what it used to be.
