Dungeon Generation "mini game" ?
Hopefully someone around here can help (I believe I've got the right forum, apologies in advance if I've misposted)
I've been futilly attempting to find a set of rules I remember seeing for generating a random dungeon and the monsters inside. It felt kind of like the pen and paper version of Dwarf Fortress histories, and used nothing more than the rules, pen, graph paper and some dice.
So you'd roll, figure out who built the dungeon and how big they dug it and what the cause of their eventual demise was, which monsters moved in after they died and map out the dungeon like that. You don't want the monster? You don't throw the switch.

Re: Dungeon Generation "mini game" ?
There are these dungeon-gen dice that can help make a dungeon on the fly...

It is indeed thank you Cicciograna! My google-fu was not quite strong enough.
