    Default Races as Bonus Feats?

I remember seeing a piece of homebrew on these forums a while ago that condensed the different races into feats.

Then, everyone played Humans; if you wanted to play a Dwarf, you played a Human with the Dwarf feat.

Does anyone else remember this thread?

If not, would anyone like to help me build that concept from the ground up?

I remember it, too, but I can't find it. I did find this, I guess.

Please feel free to PM me any thoughts on my homebrew (or comment in the thread if it's not too old).

We should start with core races if we're rebuilding this.

Also what would be the point of this?

    It needs a point?

Other than being a neat little exercise, it would let me run that pre-1st-level Commoners game I'm itching for.
