    Default Anti-Meta-Magic Feats

I came up with this idea a while ago and was wondering what you all would think:

Basically, it's a set of meta-magic feats that do the exact opposite of the corresponding meta-magic feat.

    For example:
    Shrink Spell (Anti-Enlarge Spell)
Alter a spell with a range of close, medium, or long to decrease its range by 50% (rounded down). An shrunken spell with a range of close now has a range of 12+5 ft./4 levels. A shrunken spell uses up a spell slot one level lower than the spell's actual level.

The trouble is, you end up with people screwing around with them, with predictable results.

Minimised Fireball is a cantrip, which deals 1 point of damage per level in an area, as opposed to 1d3 to one target.

Minimised Dis-empowered apocalypse from the sky is a fourth-level spell which kills most commoners within a mile per level, and also causes very little ability damage to you.

Minimised SMIX has the exact same effect as SMVIII (assuming you can't minimise things which don't have variable numeric components). It's a sixth-level spell.

Dis-empowered minimised phantasmal killer is a SoD, and it's a cantrip (it has a variable numeric component, which is the 3d6 damage).

Resistible Irresistible dance is a save or lose, and it's a 2nd-level Bard spell.

Dis-empowered Death Knell is a cantrip.

Minimised Dis-empowered Quest is a 1st-level spell. Prismatic spells are also another good candidate.

Minimising and dis-empowering Dimension Door would be a good idea even if the feats didn't reduce the spell slot level. Same with Clone, the 3rd-level resurrection spell.

    In short? Baaaaad idea.

Massively OP. Even if it doesn't permit early access to spells it basically gives casters more high level spells. Dimension door for example is 90% as effective with half the range (only 200ft+20ft/cl). Likewise for dispel, image spells, summons, fog, haste... Flame arrow is not really affected at all. Throw in a rod of enlarge spell and you have cheap improved casting.

Imagine a caster that got access to spells a full 2 levels early, with the only downside being that his range is halved.
