Default Something stronger for Elan to say

I just thought: "What could Elan say, which is both true and strengthening", and I came up with this:

"They can take our bodies, and they can take our souls, but they can't take our fight! Let's fight them today with all we have!"
(for it might be all we'll ever have left ;) )

I dunno, I thought some Leonidas words would be appropriate.

I'm suprised he left out Churchill's "Finest Hour" speech.

One has to wonder how Elan would've mangled his lines.

"This is where we fight! This is where they die! Except for those of them that are already dead, of course, they won't really die so much as be destroyed. Oh, and I suppose some of us could possibly die too. And then they might reanimate our corpses as zombies and force them to fight for their side, so I guess then this is where we fight and might die and might then fight again, except for the other side..."

Indeed. Pirate Ninja Spartans would rule the world, if they existed...

Actually, due to inverse ninja law, and it's variants, you'd actually need only one Pirate Ninja Spartan to rule the world. More than that, and it dilutes the effectiveness of his ninja component.

You see thousands and thousands of hobgoblins. I see a target-rich environment

    Edit:
Wait, I just noticed: you said hobogoblins. Are they like hobgoblins, but smellier?

Azurians! Tonight we dine in hell!

Eh, I guess it loses something when it comes from a culture not based almost entirely around war.

We shall fight them on the walls! We shall fight them in the streets! We shall fight them on the multi-use paths, although exercising due caution, because y'know, people walk their dogs there. Unless by then the zombies have eaten all the dogs. Or there might be zombie dogs, but then people still might need somewhere to walk 'em, because a zombie dog is bad enough, but zombie poop all over the floor would be really gross.

is coming to destroy us, but we have puppies in Azure City. If we let kill our puppies then will not like us. If does not like us, he will kill us for letting puppies die, so we must kill (wait not kill, because he is undead... so the undead equivalent of kill) before he can kill our puppies leaving us to the tender mercies of !
    Go Azure City

Elan flopped that one. I don't like how Elan's "moment" was spoiled.

I so want to see Redcloak giving an inspiring speech to the hobgoblins.

"I have a dream that my Hobgoblin brothers will one day live in a land where they are judged not on the colour of their skin but by the amount of adventurers they've slaughtered."

(aside, cause Redcloak isn't dumb enough to say it out loud) "Yeah you're all going to die but hey I never liked you anyway."

He-he... Very funny, and very non-PC.

It is an interesting issue, though - they are not the brightest creatures, but surely they wonder why they all of a sudden abandoned their seemingly well-built and permanent settlements and took off into human lands

How about if he yelled "Spears shall be shaken! Shields shall be splintered! A sword day, a red day, ere the sun rises! DEATH! DEATH!"

:With great power comes great responsability... Though you're all mostly low level so you don't really have that much power, but if you do kill enough of the enemy to level up, you can earn the resonsibilty of looking after the royal puppies, or cleaning the royal junk.
