The Cyberpunk War on the Infinite Worlds
"The Homeline's books call us AO4DF. They call us Neuron. We? We call ourselves Earth."
Neuron. A pretty typical "Cyberpunk" planet. Large corporations, hired mercs, virtual-reality internet, etc.
That's what Homeline thought.
But, after a Centrum agent's mission logs brought the Secret to Neuron, plans were made.
As it turned out, being thought of as "less-than-human" or "meat puppets" by both sides wasn't too great of an idea by Neuron's standards. So, we're gonna take down Homeline, Centrum, and hopefully anyone else with world-jumping.
And we need your help to do it.
Well? Got any ideas to destroy a high-tech, hyper-wealthy UN corporation gone mad?

Re: The Cyberpunk War on the Infinite Worlds
Well, if they don't know you know about world-hopping, you have a HUGE advantage until they find out. Use it well.
If ethics isn't an issue (HA HA HA "ethics" in a cyberpunk world... I crack myself up sometimes...), serious heavy-duty terrorist-style WMD use could be effective. Unleashing an omnilethal plague isn't so bad when there's zero chance of it blowing back on you....
If ethics somehow IS an issue (or you just want to keep the retaliation low), infiltrate their world, study their government/corporate structure, figure out who you need to promote, and who you need to eliminate. See if you can find the eliminatees' counterparts on your world - it's not quite 'replace with a clone', but it's close enough.Imagine if all real-world conversations were like internet D&D conversations...

Re: The Cyberpunk War on the Infinite Worlds
Do they rely on one big centrasl version of anything, such as 1 big supercomputer one big power station ect? If they do, hunt it down and destroy it. This will cripple them, and allow you to hunt down everything else.

Re: The Cyberpunk War on the Infinite Worlds
Centrum and Homeline has been unable to take each other down, I don't see how some corporation is likely to be able to going to take on either of them, let alone both plus the Space Nazis, even a megacorp. The cyberpunk guys seem to be the underdog by a decent margin here.
Note, Infinity agents will include cyberpunk operatives, as well as wizards, demons, werewolves, supers etc. etc. So it's not like anyone is going to be overawed by ruthless executives, cyber-limbed street samurai and netrunners.

Re: The Cyberpunk War on the Infinite Worlds
Well, sort of. We've developed a version of it with the "helpful guidance" of a captured Centrum operative, but we didn't really develop it independently. It works though.
And, speaking of central points, hitting the home worlds should cripple them. We're thinking an EMP strike.

"We have just tried the BlueEyes Cybernetics, Inc brand Jumper. It seems to work. It is limited in the size, and capacity of objects it can transfer, but it works. Any grant money from the US government would be highly appreciated. We have capability. I repeat. This world has parachronic capability. I await the office party. Just, please. Don't use this as an excuse for some kind of multidimensional crusade, sir. That would be stupid.

Re: The Cyberpunk War on the Infinite Worlds
Again, bear in mind that this capability is comfortably within the technology of both Centrum and Homeline, so it seems unlikely you can just pop over there, detonate a few nukes and walk away dusting your hands.
They should both have considered the other launching various strategic attacks and have taken precautions against it. At minimum, they will have hardened electronics in multiply redundant, secret, underground back-up command centres located both on and off world.

Re: The Cyberpunk War on the Infinite Worlds
In terms of corp ruthlessness sure. But maybe not from the perspective of their own survival. The failed cyberpunk operatives are likely to find themselves undergoing a perfect interrogation by Homeline's wizards in a basement somewhere.
Although maybe that's a reason for highly overpowered skullbombs to be installed immediately prior to mission kick off.
As well, while I think from a canon perspective, this is a completely doomed mission, let's not be a Debbie Downer about this. If you want to run a "Dynacorp is so hardcore, they blew up Centrum!" campaign, that's fine too.
