    Default Looking for 5e homebrew.

    Hello everyone!

Made this thread to try and get some help with 5e as we're starting a new campaign to give the system a try but my players would really like to play classes that are unavailable at the moment.
I'm basically looking for any homebrew or conversion of 3.5 classes to 5e, to mention:

    -Dragonfire Adept
    -Duskblade
    -Shadow Dancer (I know it's a PrC...but he insists)

I'm not familiar enough with 5e to try and homebrew them myself, so I was hoping that, perhaps, it has already been done and some of my fellow forumites would be able to provide me with info on that, or any idea on how could I emulate said classes trough the available content.

    I greatly appreciate any help.

The Way of Shadows (Monk) comes really close to the shadowdancers, so not sure that is really required.
Insanity is the sane response to an insane world.
Besides, it is more fun this way.

Yes, that is pretty much what I ended coming up with.

After some talking (actually, a lot of talking) I got my group to understand the differences between 3.5 and 5e, hence I was able to convince them to adapt their ideas. Wich wasn't that hard, considering that the Eldritch Knight is pretty spot on, when it comes to emulating the Duskblade.

The Dragonfire Adept, however, is proving somewhat difficult to brew, tho...

Make it as a warlock pact; best option.

I don't know if it is still relevant, but I have posted my attempt at a 5e update for the Dragonfire Adept class here. Feel free to use it for inspiration.

I also updated the Duskblade to 5e rules, and tried to keep the spirit of the class intact. I'm not 100% certain on the numbers in terms of damage output (whether it's too much or too little) but you are welcome to use it. You can find it here.

Not really what you're looking for, but I've been working on some Home-brew 5e content here:

I hope you find what you're looking for, thought I'd offer what I know exists.

Dear god, you guys are fast!

I was having some trouble trying to brew a Dragonfire Adept for my group, due to time constraints at work, but you really seem to have nailed it Mr.Xyianth (funny name, eh?). I'll be sure to give it some PEACHing later, thanks a lot.

Hm, since everyone is posting here I also have a engineer-like class in my sig. And there's a PF summoner for 5e somewhere in the forums.
