Re: OOTS #424 - The Discussion Thread
Just as sharpe as ever, Mr Burlew. V is awesome.
You see, the simplicity of the signature is the main difficulty in creating one. The forum-user has difficulty thinking of something clever, often taking from a comic or movie they have watched recently, placing that quote—no doubt against its will—within their signature, for all to see. Yet, often, they will try to think of new and exciting ways to sum up their posts, adding a pithy phrase that they have created on their own. ...No, I can't be out of space! I'm not done—

Re: OOTS #424 - The Discussion Thread
...I have an entirely newfound respect and admiration for V and Spellcasters in general right now.
But I still can't shake the fact that V just helped proliferate a truism. o.o
Must've skipped the whole Bookreading phase after s/he realized that it took one day to write a single word in a spellbook.

And here I was all worried for a minute. I'm sure I'll be worried again soon but... that was a great way to leave it for the weekend.

Re: OOTS #424 - The Discussion Thread
I really like the ongoing sense of action from panel to panel in this strip. We've been getting a lot of those lately! I like this sequence even better than the Roy vs. Miko rematch in #408.

That joke (EDIT -- at then end, duh) warrants a severe trout-slapping, but in a good way.

Re: OOTS #424 - The Discussion Thread
Once again, thank you for reminiding me why I read this comic.
That was really great- it rocks to see wizard-heroism. It's hard to find this stuff in literature.
