    Default The Tiny Folk [PEACH]

This is a repost, reorganization, and slight rework of a previous thread as well as adding Leafmen from the movie Epic and a half-breed of the two.

I went with Serpentine's Shimmerlings as the base for both the Neverland Fairies and Leafmen. normalized the mental stats a bit and lessened the Dex, added one size category, the Dust Magic ability and Slight Build, removed flight and bite. I combined dust keeper and tinker fairies because of D&D's lack of useful technology incorporation.

A glowing elfin creature only 4 inches tall balances on the leaf before you, and as you watch, it spreads dragonfly wings.

Neverland faeries look like a 4-inch tall elves with slightly larger, more round heads, and either dragonfly or butterfly wings. Their skin and hair cover the full range of human tones and they often glow gold with pixie dust. Fairies weigh 1 ounce and speak Sylvan with Elven, Common, Gnome, and Celestial as bonus languages.

    Combat
An individual fairy is practically harmless. It is more likely to hide than to attack. However, if you threaten them they will retaliate in force.
Eladrin Kin: The faeries are treated as elves for prerequisites and options.
Dust Magic (Ex): Neverland Fairies are born with one of nine talents and the ability to utilize pixie dust. These abilities function as the spells and abilities of the same name and use the wielder’s HD as their caster level unless otherwise noted.
Pink: Speak With Plants constant, Entangle single target 30ft ranged touch, Nurturing Seeds and Sprout at will
Orange: Flare, Light(5 rounds 5ft radius), Dawn, and Prestidigitation(heating and fire only) at will
Amber: Learn Language:Animal(as forest gnome), Wild Empathy, You qualify to take a lesser version of the Animal Friends feat(1HD and adventuring penalty applies)
Green: Allows the use of Alchemy and Dust Alchemy. Gains 1 Craft Point per day up to their highest Craft rank.
Cyan: Mage Hand on water only and Create Rain with concentration on a 5ft radius at will
Indigo: Electric Jolt, Sonic Ray, and Thunderhead of the Three Thunders cantrips at will
Purple: Wings of Swift Flying, control winds(10ft radius) up to Strong with concentration, and Bull Rush as a 10ft line at will
White: Ray of Frost, Ice Slick 5ft, Icewalking, and Prestidigitation(cooling only) at will
Black: Sandman's Caress and No Light at will(5 rounds 5ft radius), Darkvision 60ft.

    Alternate Racial Abilities:
Hearty: Increase size to Tiny and weight to 5lb. Their speed also increases to 15ft. This replaces Slight Build.

Gnomish Heritage: Gain the Gnome SLA racial trait and count as a Gnome for the purposes of spells, effects and prerequisites. This replaces the Eladrin Kin and Dust Magic abilities.

Scout: Slight build changes to Powerful Build, gain Favored Enemy(Hawk), and Swift Tracking as a Ranger. This replaces your Dust Magic Talent and modifies Slight Build.

Pixie Dust: Pixie dust is an alchemical creation that grants supernatural abilities for 1d4 rounds corresponding with the Dust Magic colors above with the addition of blue and gold. Only creatures with the Dust Magic ability may use pixie dust and only those with the Dust Alchemy ability can make it. It takes a move action to draw a charge of pixie dust(free with the Quick Draw feat) and a standard action to use its ability. All pixie dust is 100g per charge with a DC 20 alchemy check to create colors other than blue and gold. One blue and one gold charge are consumed in the creation of a charge of any of the other dust colors. Blue and gold dust is made solely by incantations which are safely guarded secrets(increase research DC by 20 for non-fairies).
Blue: Light, Slow Fall and Fly(CL 1, clumsy, must move maximum distance)
Gold: Candlelight, Slow Fall and Overland Flight(CL 1, -10ft speed)
