The MitD got the best lines in this one. He's just as clueless as ever. Plus, those Xy-clones are probably a bit more powerful than the OotS is gonna expect.

That was a lot of fun. And the MITD makes Elan look like a Harvard graduate. Guess the next poll should be..who's smarter..Thog or MITD?

I remember people using the MitD's perceptions as arguments concerning the veracity of the Xyklones, and this demonstrates beyond all doubt the fatal flaw in that argument: there are things that grow on old damp bread quicker on the uptake than he is.

And it's nice to get that bit of exposition out of the way.

Excellent comic - a little explanation and a lot of humor!

What is an Eye of Fear and Flame, BTW? I've heard of the other two, but that's a new one on me.

Nice to see Redcloak working from the Monster Manual, Fiend Folio and the Book of Vile Darkness. Wish I had the latter 2 books so I could look up the other undead... and it definitely indicates Redcloak is pretty damn high level if he can make all three in one night. (I didn't think it was even possible for a mortal cleric to make a Death Knight, but I could be behind on my rules...)

And as for the MitD... to quote Bill Engvall, heeeere's your sign.

I thought it was good - it's always good when the bad guys have good strategy. Too many times you have just the 'inhuman wave' tactic, which predictably falls apart. Starting right up front with the elemental capapult ammo brigade, and right through with the 4 Xykonian Tenors, we've got good baddie strategy here.

Hmmm... interesting.... the way Redcloak treats MitD reminds me of how Roy treats Elan....

"Let's not tell Elan uncomfortable truths"

And, holy crap! I just realized that "Elan" is "Nale" backwards!!

    Great comic, Giant!!
Also, good OOTS artists, please PM me. I would like a rendering of my character, and I cannot do this, for I have neither scanner nor skills with computer doodling (and doodling is the only way I get any work done)

Haha, this reminds me of the time Elan thought they were voting while the Oots were on trial.

Eheh! The comics just keep getting better and better! Great job, Giant!

Edit: Just remembered who the MITD reminded me of in this comic! Any of you watch Red vs. Blue? If so, you'll know what I'm talking about when I say that MITD reminds me alot of Caboose in this strip.

A huecuva is an oath-breaker; they're formed from individuals with oath-bound classes (i.e., cleric, druid, monk, and paladin).

Yay! Thanks to MitD we get to find out what the plan is!

Of course you know, the really dumb henchman who forces you to tell him your plans through his stupidity, usually turns out to be a good guy acting dumb so you will tell him your secrets!
