    Default Spellbook managment programs?

I need a good stand alone program for Spell management!
What I would like to see is:
SRD spells already included (or more )
Easy user input (for new spells from new books)
Display the important info for spells (i.e. casting time, book and page number Description)
A check mark or something like a text box for memorized spells
savable (able to save for the next session)
& I really need this so I can run this strait from my computer, as I also use a Character sheet, and Dice programs on my laptop.

Has anyone seen any thing like this? If not what do you recommend or what are you using?

    Thanks

...That would be so cool. I want one too, if you don't mind if I steal whatever response you get as well.
If there's a rule, there's someone out there trying to figure out how to get around it just to piss off his DM.

The best I can think of are Emass's Dynamic Character Sheets. You select the books you have access to, and it prints out all of the spells you have access to (including from the loss of schools through specialization, or with the addition of domains). It has boxes you can check for spells known, and spaces for spells memorized and on scrolls. Each level has a few blank spaces for extra spells. It gives you a brief description of each spell, with the book and page number included.

I think what you are looking for is SpellGen2. It has darn near every spell I've heard of, and many I hadn't. It's got a BUNCH of material from various sources, and allows you to make your own sources. Best of all, you put in your stats and modifiers, and it auto-calculates save DC's and level-dependant effects for you. If that's not enough, it puts it into an easy-to-read format, sorted by level, ready to print out!

No Problem, I also use Virtual Dice Tray, and PCProfiler with a modified template.

Thanks for the responses, Its not quite what i'm looking for, I dont really need to print until I am retiring the character. During game play I want to be able to run the spell book from my computer.

    Thanks

DM Genie would offer you very similar functionality, albeit at somewhat of a learning curve. It would also integrate your spellbook, inventory, and character sheet. It's really only useful in a core-only game, though.

A bunch of my friends and I threw in together for some subscriptions to rpg patsy. It works pretty well for some of them, but I have found it not to be condusive to my particular play style.

As a sorcerer player, I don't have enough spells to worry about remembering them.

Ya I know, But I run a lot of clerics, and wizards too. So I really need something that I dont need to renter all that info. can you run spellgen from your computer with the ability to mark memed spells? all I could do was export to .xml format which did not give me that ability.

OK, so SpellGen is unable to do it well. I even exported to Excel but the layout was crap! So I'll make my own (sort of). For my character sheet I use PCProfiler which uses HTML templates to run from. I figure I can use HTML to make Spell sheets (better then the one it came with). I am VERY new to HTML, I just bought HTML Complete 4 days ago to teach me. I am doing OK with it and have the wizard 0-level and 1st level spell blank spell sheet completed but It is taking far longer then I antisapated and I am wondering if their is a better way. If you have any ranks in the Skill knowledge (HTML), Have the time, and are kind enough to help me out a little please PM me and I will give you a more detailed description of what I am doing.

Hope to hear from you soon!
