Petal without LA

Hello,

i need help in making a Petal character without LA

reason:
in the near future we are goona start a campaign at lvl 6, i i'll play wildshape ranger 5 / master of many forms 1, and it would be awesome to be tiny fay who shapes into big things (just for roleplay reasons) and LA would hurt.

As defined by [3.5] LA +1 & LA +2 Player Race List thread:
Petal - tiny fey (MM3) 15 ft move, fly 60ft, -8 Str, +10 Dex, +4 Con, +4 Int, +8 Cha, Sleep Songs, DR 5/cold iron, (?), LA +2

So, how do I make it LA +0?

Well, maybe start by looking at the Jermlaine (MM2)? It is a Tiny Fey too, but it can't fly, looks like a humanoid rat, and is one of the most broken druid races out there.

Stats are: -6 Str +6 Dex -2 Con -2 Int +6 Wis -6 Cha.
