Re: [Pathfinder] Killer Dungeon: Borealum OOC
I had adjusted my sheet to include a name, but i guess it failed to save. I am Helt Dorran, and i once again fixed my sheet to spend the remaining money I had had. I will speak in "Blue"

Re: [Pathfinder] Killer Dungeon: Borealum OOC
By the way, I think we should state what we expect our character's role to be, shortly.
My Gregoric is a flying tank.
He has a bit of utility (magus), and is capable of debuffing a single target easily (as long as he hits).
[EDIT] I'm using turquoise then.Last edited by TomPliss; 2015-01-08 at 06:16 AM.

Re: [Pathfinder] Killer Dungeon: Borealum OOC
I'm pretty much raw support. My actions will typically be alternating between some ranged attack and buffing an ally (not ideal to buff every round because of penalties), dropping dispels when needed.

Re: [Pathfinder] Killer Dungeon: Borealum OOC
Vailwae is a trap-jockey/skill monkey.
And to the question asked by the DM in the first IC post, I'm okay with whatever, but it might be worth at least a quick intro from whoever is sending us in to introduce us to one another. But jumping feet first in is okay, too!Life is ... life. As always bot/cut as necessary.

Re: [Pathfinder] Killer Dungeon: Borealum OOC
I'll be using "dark grey" when Beast! speaks. If that's not a bother, TomPliss.
Beast is a damage-dealing melee controller (grapple, trip, disarm). Got some basic arcane spells, and wands for your health. Also got a lot of monsters I can summon, but I won't be using those much. Partly because I am new to Pathfinder and don't know the monsters, and mostly because I'm playing a synthesist, and the eidolon is kind of the entire build.
Any starting condition is fine by me. If someone wanted to make a tie with Beast, feel free. I didn't want to sift through the pages of the thread to find everyone's backgrounds. Mine's on my sheet at the bottom (as of this post). Most excellent custom avatar by Kymme!

Re: [Pathfinder] Killer Dungeon: Borealum OOC
Cool, think Ausk will speak in Dark Green.
Ausk is primarily melee damage and buffs, with some healing and utility spells. Main two buffs are a banner (+2 morale bonus to attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, and saving throws against fear and charm; Active when you are within 30 ft. of me when my weapon/banner is drawn), and inspired rage (+4 morale bonus to strength, constitution, -1 to AC, and grants Superstition and Lesser Celestial Totem. It prevents spell casting, but you can choose whether to accept the effects or not each round.)

Re: [Pathfinder] Killer Dungeon: Borealum OOC
Oh, I'm in! I skipped over my own name in the list. Heh.
Sup, guys. (No one took Brown yet, right?) Grillo will try to keep off the front lines if he can. He's got Alchemical stuff, Knowledge checks, & UMD. And bombs - lots of bombs.
He's not perceptive enough to help Vailwae spot the traps, but he can take a second shot at Disable Device if need be.
And he's got 2 potions of Haste to hand out to our melee strikers once we meet up
As far as starting off, I don't think we need any huge RP buildup. But maybe a short introductory/greeting post as we gather to be teleported into the antechamber?

Re: [Pathfinder] Killer Dungeon: Borealum OOC
I've updated the main thread with the introduction, I'll post more stuff when people arrive. I'll be away from my computer for most of tomorrow, so it might take a while for me to answer (or not). First come, first served I guess (unless someone wants to be first/last to arrive of course).

I like that name. Sarquis the Sneak, trapfinder and thief. It's got alliterations, rhyming, and it's definitive.

Awaiting a response to Vailwae's check, then I'll most likely be following Nimrah into the circle.

Gregoric requires further descriptions of the corridor.
Mainly, its width and height. Or, alternatively : could he fly above normal head level ? :pPlaying Gregoric "Dragonborn" Khuzir, the Silver Winged Magus in [PF] Killer Dungeon: Borealum (IC / OOC)

No 10 foot pole, but i have my disposable ammunition to toss out. And if that doesn't work, i can start blasting the tiles with my words until they explode.

Sorry. Should have been clearer. I was aiming for one of the tiles marked with a square. Not one of the pitfall ones.

Re: [Pathfinder] Killer Dungeon: Borealum OOC
Yes, invisible ink is a known thing, especially among rogues and spies, but it occasionally finds other use. It's not something everyone knows about but certainly something that many adventurers would have come across. I'll reply to the thread today, will you try to reveal the invisible ink somehow?
It might be mundane, responding to heat or chemicals, or more esoteric requiring rituals or magic to reveal it (Although the more esoteric ones tend to be magical and the book has no aura.)

If only we had some means of *cough* summoning *cough* creatures to test trap squares for us...such a *cough* "summoner" *cough* could be quite useful in this situation. *cough* Sorry, something stuck in my throat there
