under familiar basics for sorcerers, in the PHB p52 it says "attacks: use the master's base attack bonus, as calculated from all his classes"

when the master's base attack reaches +6, does the familiar get an additional +1 attack per round like the master, and so on throughout the advancement?

Only if using an unarmed strike or manufactured weapon. Iterative attacks never apply to natural weapons like claws or bites.
