Magic Item Creation Help

I've been looking for way to but damage resistance on a magic item aside from the 30 point warding for armors against elements. Primarily I'm looking for resistance to the weapon type damages (slashing, piercing, bludgeoning). Anybody have any ideas aside from the epic seed fortify (I think that's the one). And how do epic spells on items affect the cost?

Complete Warrior has armor modifiers that provide the kind of DR you want. Axebane, bluntbane and spearbane, I think they were called...can't remember and I don't have Complete Warrior here to check.

Axeblock, Hammerblock, and Spearblock on page 134 of Complete Warrior give DR 5 that is bypassed by either of the two weapon damage types that the weapon in the name does not deal.

RAW, no magic item short of major artifacts can use an epic spell.
