I loved the little AOO! that the old guy made when the Death Knight flew past. Good thing he made his Knowledge (Complicated Combat Rules) check.

V is gonna be useless if e keeps burning through spells like that. Wait, obviously, this is where the Seldom-Used Quarterstaff from the board game comes in!

Wonder when Durkon/Haley are gonna get to do something though.

I've seen interesting words used for sound effects before, but I think this is the first time I've seen an abbreviation used as a sound effect.

Sweet! I really like the W.E. Coyote remark. Makes my days spent in front of the TV set seem like a not-so-total waste of a childhood

Hehe, little comment on the discussions on the board lately, eh?

I don't know, thinking about what feats a fighter-type has seems like a very fighterish sort of knowledge that I wouldn't expect V to have. To him/her. the horse was only as useful as its combat stats, and maybe the +1 bonus for higher ground. It took a General to see that the death knight probably had Spirited Charge.

Plus, it was nice to see the General isn't completely incompetent, anyway.
Congratulations, you can link to TV Tropes. This does not mean you have special insight into the storytelling process, much less the author's mind. Stories don't need to fit into neat boxes, you know.

Nice. Fave line was "it's almost like the universe is..." But the last line fell a bit flat for some reason. The visuals sufficed alone.

Nah, falling from a horse is 1d6 damage. Even with the General's AOO, I expect he's still active.
