"You're not from Waterdeep either. Where's your homeland?" Khor asks the barbarian.

Peylor and his friends continue talking, he notices you both and gets a nervous look, and appears to be making a conscious effort to ignore you both. The priest continues to read, as the paladin finishes his meal, he walks over to the priest, "Continuing to read your histories I see? What is it today?"

"Ahh, the fall of the demi-god Rhoyden, a son of Peylor. Quite a tale, sacrificed himself to save the world from a evil he couldn't defeat. Interested in hearing more?"

"If I did not need to assist the guards this evening I would be. You tell the most fascinating of tales Professor Leroinic, but there has been a series of alchemy robberies, and my duties with the guards are calling."

"Another time indeed, for I know you will want to hear of the battle that took place. Good luck tonight then Sir Downy."

"Thank you, good evening then."

The paladin nods and then turns to his clear plates and heads towards the door. The scholarly cleric continues back to his book.

Continue your conversation as you wish, everyone in the room will clear out at some point, but not for awhile. Otherwise they continue what their doing. As common knowledge Peylor teaches a lot on compassion and kindness, anyone who serves him will likely welcome you and any questions you have.

"The Kingdom of Many-Arrows. Born and raised." Khor replied. He carefully gauged Bregg's reaction to naming his homeland. Many people were still sore over the idea that orcs might want to own land.

Hmm, my travels have not brought me there, where is this kingdom exactly?
Bregg asked.
Out of his reaction you couldn't discern any discomfort or anything with the idea that Orcs can own land.

"Between Mithral Hall and Silverymoon, sort of. Rough land, but it's home." Khor said. "What brings a Rashemi all the way to Waterdeep?"

Bregg doubted a bit before simply saying:
I was sent here.

Khor raised an eyebrow. "Sent? By who?"

Bregg looked at the half-orc but decided it was too early to tell him.
It is not important.

"To each their own then." Khor said. He recognized the evasiveness as strange, but decided not to press it. It wasn't like Khor was without his own secrets.

As you talk with each other the paladin walks past and politely nods your way as he heads toward the door.

Bregg grunts in agreement with Khor and continues his meal.
Don't take it personal, you seem like a good guy.

He nods to the paladin when he walks by.

The paladin continues on his way, the room is left with the group chatting and priest reading

Then sleep, good dwarf tomorrow will bring its own challenges

The dream fades away. You wake up a new day in the prison cell, guards are posted around, you can see other cells with a variety of people, most are humans.

Bregg finishes his meal and stands up.
Good night.

He says to noone in particular as he goes to get some well needed rest.

"Can I have a quill?" he muttered to a guard. "And some paper?" he asked.

The guard walks over to you, looks you up and down, "What's it for?"

His meal finished, Khor retires to his room until the next morning.

Bregg and Khor both awake from a gentle slumber. There are acolytes moving about everywhere, the day has started for the temple. After they prepare for the day themselves, they head to the cafeteria for breakfast. There are a large variety of religious types eating and chatting. All of whom appear friendly enough to approach.

As they finish their meal, a young acolyte approaches them, "A note from the high priest for you."

Slip of paper reads, "Khor, the judge you met with yesterday is asking for your presence at noon. If you would so kind as to return to the courthouse, the guards there will direct you, also feel free to bring along your companion."

While all this is occurring, Riya walks out of her room at the inn while in an intense argument with a past life, "I never wanted to go to a religious convention! - This is all your fault! - You got tricked, there's no reason to the same to me." gets yelled out across the room as Riya realizes that going here was a ploy by a past life that she fell for. The argument seems as if it might go on indefinitely.

None of us are going to be your messenger boy, so I don't think so.

Your past life appears to be talking with another being on it's own realm of quasi existence. It seems very determined to steer you towards one the temple of Peylor and a very mysterious fountain.

Ater an extended argument, Riyu concedes to checking out the fountain, but not the temple itself.

Khor is leaving the temple on his way to the magistrate's office when he passes by a Daeva apparently arguing with the air. He shakes his head and continues walking.

Just need to know if Bregg went with Khor, and Riya, let me know when you get to the temple. The fountain is in the back and is a very well kept secret, according to your past life's source. You get two names High Priest Cranley and Elmizar.

Riya prepares these spell before going to the temple: Grease & Float.

Riya arrives at the temple, and instead of taking the temple's obvious front entrance, Riya searches the back for a non-obvious entrance.

The temple is fairly wide, the back of the temple is flat across. As Riya checks out the back of the building see spots a servant's door on the center east side where two men come out, they appear to be cooks with their white aprons over white shirts with the symbol of Paylor, and trousers with gold lining on the outsides.

As she continues to look around the back of the building she spots a faint but golden humming of energy coming from a little west of center of the back wall.

Riya tries to use her knowledge of magic to figure out what the faint hum of energy is.
