Which he then proves by insulting Crystal into a blind rage.

Bozzok's dead. Grubwiggler teleported, not dimension door, so he could be anywhere.

Now, what will Crystal do? And what will Gnomeland Security do?

Really Bozzok, what else did you expect after saying something like that?

Heavy, and also quite ominous with Crystal continuing violence after Bozzok's death. I kind of suspect the Order and the gnomes are not completely out of trouble yet.

Is there some kind of rule in the comic that magical creatures made of dead things have to turn on their masters now?

I hope Bozzak truly stays dead. It would be a nice change of pace to see a villain directly get his/her comuppance as a direct resort of their own idiocy.

Is it just me of does Haley seem a lot more mature during this arc? She never seemed afraid of Crystal (granted she killed her once) but more than that she pretty much seemed to be in control the whole time. Whenever Crystal overcame a tactic she just switched tactics.

Haha, love how Grubbler bugs out. And truely he was correct, Bozzok isn't nearly as clever as he thought he was. A clever person would have had some way of talking down crystal, but his attempts only made her madder! Oh Bozzok, you will be missed... briefly.

So... what happens next? Does crystal come out and say:
1. Okay, I'm at peace. Kill me now and stop the pain.
2. Hailey, I still hate you. I'm going to kill you now too!
or 3. Screw everyone, I'm going to go run rampant and mutilate people's cattle for kicks.

Wow. Guess we have to ask, what does Crystal do for an encore? Having got rid of Bozzok hasn't made her any less a golem and I doubt it will make her any less in pain.

i just realised how much Bozzok is like Nale, hopelessly incompetent, believes himself way better then he is, and willing to taunt the person who holds his life in there hands

Yes, Haley's growing up. She's a good 2nd in command to Roy - always was, but she's getting better.

Bozzok was dead (X eyes) in the 3rd panel from the end. Crystal was thrashing a corpse for the last two panels. This is beyond comeuppance; this is killing frenzy.

Bozzok got really, really bad Sense Motive and/or Bluff to select the verbal intervention that he did.

And now he dead.

By the scale of beating, I think it would be impossible to revive from Bozzok's giblets.

Great end to Bozzock, but I worry that Crystal will turn on Haley now that he's dead. After all, she hates Haley still and thinks she needs killing.

I love watching Bozzok get what's coming to him, but I'm also stuck on the question: what now? Not only what's going to happen to Crystal, but also how is this whole chain of events going to affect the overall plot? I certainly don't see Crystal joining the Order, but mercy-killing her would make this whole episode have virtually no effect on the overall plot, unless the DGS decides to help in some unforeseen way. Maybe Crystal runs away only to turn up at an (in)opportune time later?

But Haley will still have her work cut out for her. Once Crystal is finished with Bozzok, I have no doubt she'll turn her attention back to Haley.

We've seen that she can be talked to - both Haley, and Bozzok, got her to stop and listen. Bozzok just blew his chance, unlike Haley.

I think Haley can talk to her again. What she'll say I do not know, but there are actually quite a few ways for Crystal to get something she wants other than a dead rogue.
