Glad to get a piece of my writing into the books! I rather liked that veil, ties together several veils that otherwise would have been underused, particularly my lowest-rated one in the lists.

Spear of light + weapon finesse should make for a fun melee vizier. Toss on frostbite hallow and polar snowshoes, maybe lightwhip to keep enemies in range, could be a pretty nasty close fighter.

I'm looking at an Akasin, with Focus and Philosophy Adaptation on the shortspear, to deliver 7d6+7d4 three times a turn on touch. Just for fun.

My understanding of the word rudisplork is limited, mostly consisting of a vague understanding that it became a joke word to replace cheating in a rather infamous thread. Hope the fluff works well enough.
Some say Optimizing, some say Min/Maxing, members of the Rudisplorkers' Guild are encouraged to use the term Rudisplorking. Only one said Cheating, he is the opposite of the Guild.
Rudisplorking was originally coined by Kazudo as a joke word to replace Optimizing. The titles granted to each member of the Rudisplorkers' Guild is similar to the content created in these threads of Snowbluff's.

The fluff works, because if someone builds a character well enough, they (the character) can change the world around them.

Does this trick involve applying physics to D&D? If not, I'm really interested in knowing how you do it. If it does use physics, I'm still interested, just less so because I know how physics and D&D interact.

It depends on what level you are at. At level one it involves effectively being everywhere at once by using all your sorcerer spells per day. (wizards are actually kinda bad at this stuff unless they use a lot of resources to make a lot of scrolls.) They you use fairly mundane things that everyone can do. It is surprising what a normal person can do if they can rapidly change locations. I am sure there are other ways to multiply your destructive potential, but that is how i did it with first level spells, since you pretty much just have benign transposition and stand. I haven't thought through the best ways of doing things with higher level spells, since they tend to have more uses and you have more spells to use with them.

The time i used physics involved a custom magic item so i don't usually count it. Though i do enjoy a good whale drop.

Apparently these threads can get derailed without Snow, LP, or I. Interesting. I should start posting some more gifs. Perhaps by some convoluted logic that would actually keep the thread on topic.

That actually sounds like it would work. If the thread derailment id focused on gifs it is less likely to pull in conversation keeping things more on topic.

Ah, yes. Unfortunately this way I always get the paperwork. Before it was "I'm sorry LP, somehow this caught on fire and we've lost our only copy." Now it's "I got mad and lit one on fire, but here are the other two copies you forced me to hand right." No one wants to burn their own work.

Side note: If there was a GitP office and we all worked in cubicles, I feel like I would be the manager and Snowbluff would be the trouble making assistant that I never truly catch in the act of defiling IZ42. Elric would be the regional manager who checked in now and again to make sure we weren't dead. But not one of us would be safe because Red Fel would be HR.

    Also, I am really tired.

You just have to bounce from office to office, which are conveniently titled "threads" and make sure we're all doing a "good job". You take the manager to lunch, ask some pre-printed questions and then rinse and repeat. Haha.

Huh. Fair enough. You can work in my office. IZ42's up for promotion anyways and he's still a viable target for Snowbluff in a position of power.
