    Spoiler: Lifeweaver's Signet

    Spoiler: Signet - Recollection
    Show
    Lifeweaver's Signet

The small coppery ring was covered in various arcane markings. Words of power long forgotten. A small circular disk of siccitite was mounted upon the bands crown, bearing a strange rendering of a seal, appearing as a noble's signet ring, but perhaps far older then most royal families bloodlines. It was polished, yet tarnished by age. It would have appeared as an ancient relic kept by a family in a study somewhere behind glass, the original seal of their name, perhaps. But this was far different. This was a bloody token taken as a prize long ago by some D'Aritel warrior, back during the days when they hunted mythical creatures and the cults that worshiped them. This band was a relic of those days, possessing the unique ability to convert life, into life energy...

When Lady D'Aritel passed her this ring, she understood the weight of the order that she had received, though she still did not understand her reasoning. There was arguably no higher priority then securing The High-Lord in her mind, but her superior thought otherwise. So she took the ring, and prayed that she'd find her answers or Sir Keddran would shed some light upon this role she had been charged with.

    [Abilities]

    Lifeweaver's Gift - SL +1
The wearer summons forth a fraction of their own life-force, charging it, and gifting it to another as empowered positive energy through a touch. A surge of emerald light passes into another, closing their wounds, but depleting the wearer's life in exchange.

As a Swift Action the wearer may touch another creature, charging them with Positive Energy. The target is healed or damaged by this energy for 1d8+2 points of hit points. The wearer sustains 1d4+1 points of damage in the process. This ability cannot be used on themselves. The wearer may choose to double the damage taken, doubling the amount of positive energy released.

    Lifeweaver's Charge - SL +1
The wearer spends a measure of their life force to attune an object to The Life Weave, allowing positive energy to pass through it. Using this ability the wearer is able to use their abilities in conjunction with an attack or touching another with an object they hold.

As a Free Action during the use of Lifeweaver's Gift the wearer may choose to sacrifice an additional 1d6 Hit Points to attune one object. This object may be a weapon or armor, and the ability may be used through that object or as part of an attack. The object remains attuned for 1d4 Minutes. This ability may only be triggered during a use of Lifeweaver's Gift. Not independently.

    Lifeweaver's Bolt - SL +1
The wearer charges a great amount of life energy into their body and releases it through their hand, or an attuned object as a green thundering lightning-bolt of Positive Energy. This ability taxes them greatly, and while it can unleash great force upon the living and the dead, poses a great risk to the wearer.

The wearer as a Free Action while using Lifeweaver's Gift may choose to sacrifice an additional 1d10+4 Hit Points to convert it into a Lifeweaver's Bolt. The current positive energy die count that had been spent before this conversion, is doubled. The bolt travels in an 80ft long line. The bolt passes through any creatures it strikes and continues forward until it reaches its maximum distance or strikes a solid inanimate object, such as a wall. A ranged touch-attack is made against each creature the bolt effects. Creatures directly struck take the full amount of Positive Energy. Creatures adjacent to the bolts path may make a DC10 Reflex Save to evade the bolt entirely. On a failed Save they take half of the amount of Positive Energy Healing or Damage.

After using this ability the wearer must make a DC20 Fortitude Save. On a successful save, the wearer becomes Exhausted for 2d4 minutes, and cannot use this ability again until the Exhausted Status expires. On a failed Save, their attainment to The Life Weave is disrupted. The wearer unleashes a 10ft burst of 2d6 points of Positive Energy that does not effect him. He is then Paralyzed for 2d6 Rounds. Upon recovering, he is reduced to 0 Hit Points.

Life Weave Attunement - SL +1
The wearer becomes attuned to the forces of life and death and the passing and change of its forms and energy. They can sense the strength of weakness of other creatures vitality and how near they are to death. Using such knowledge, they are able to manipulate the natural forces of the world to grant them unnatural boons to their own health.

*The wearer gains the effects of constant DeathWatch
*The wearer gains Fast Healing 1
*The wearer gains DR 1/- (Stacks with other sources of DR)
*The wearer automatically stabilizes when their HP total becomes negative.
    * 1/Day The wearer can gain 1d10 temporary hit points as a Full Round Action. These points remain for 24 hours or until they are lost via normal means.

~High Arch-Magister Bel'nacht: A mysterious wizarding man, who brought forth order, and law to the magical world. Spreading arcane education, and services to the peoples of The Inner Sea. His contributions has spanned bridges between many former enemy states by founding The Court of High Lords and Magisters, to rule on standards and laws of the land, with the officials of his arcane university, Segenhall, playing the linchpin between them. He is the only known 'Master of Steel'. The only man to completely clear The Steel Summit alive, using only his martial prowess with his staff.
~Koriah Azmeren: A famous Pathfinder, and the most senior of the members of the Heidmarch Lodge. She has many connections within Magnimar's UnderCity, and some of the less reputible folks of Dockway and UnderBridge. She is dedicated to the 'greater good' and the missions she is assigned. As made evident, she is willing to sacrifice others if the gains out-weight the cost to their goals and shared objectives. Koriah is resourceful, cunning, and known to be an excellent writer, lore-keeper, thief, and mechanic. She is trained in many schools of practice and crafting, and possesses some minor arcane abilities. She values friends, family, and contacts, but is loyal to her duty above all else.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    World: Quortek V'dre - ?????? ????????
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~Astrok'Ru (Siviri) - The Devil: Once a man, so she had heard. The Demon Spirit had lost all his power, and bound to tell only the truth, unable to lie or cheat. He thus turned to cunning games of chance and riddles. He guided the party and aided them, allowing them to escape their world, and grant them passage to the next. He is often refered to as 'Siviri' by some of the ancient entities they have encountered, leading to the possibility of The Devil being older then he is believed to be.
~The Lady of Morning: A prophetic singer often found before The Triodea playing strange songs many have come to believe without reasonable doubt. Within the city of Magnimar, a following of worshipers grow as her fame increases. She appeared as a strange guardian of light during Magister Kestal'rah's battle with the strange knight-creature on the Burning Fields of Heidmarch Manor during the siege, shielding her from attacks.

~Our Blessed Lady, The Mistress of Gates - D'Valsharess - A temperamental 'goddess', who is charged with securing the Gates between worlds. She was revealed to be The Watcher of The West, Marnes. She is the daughter of Lights, their relationship not entirely clear.
~Marren- ??? A name Lights refereed to D'Valsharess by once during their encounter. No other information is known.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
World: The Wake - The Soul Warren
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~The Stranger: Dark: A strange old man, whose state of existence is questionable. He enjoys games, and trades with the forces of Life and Death. He enjoys wagers and mysterious games. Lights hinted at him being one of the few who can control the force known as 'Desolation'.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    World: Death's Wake
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~The Bringer of Peace: Death: An ancient and ageless entity who cares for the souls of the fallen, and leads them on into the next stage of existence. She is coy, wise, and often motherly. But is often cold and vengeful against those that draw her ire. She possesses her own strange Wake where she tends to those who have passed. She charges others to smite the unnatural forces of necromancy and the foul arts of undeath, that 'taint' the natural order. Her Weavers restore balance to Worlds, and The World Lines. She is heavy-handed in her judgement, but fair, and loyal to those who are loyal to her. She seems to exist and stand outside of the Legacy, referring to it as 'there own', hinting at a higher purpose she possesses.
