My goal is usually to hit myself with Divine Sacrifice and then smite my enemy 3 times in a row. With my shiny new Large +5 Holy Avenger (Greatsword), I do pretty darn well.

That sounds painful. I usually go for Silver Knight's Blade+Silver Crane's Blessing for +4d6 damage and 6d6 healing. But I'm not trying to top the DPR chart anyway.

If only I could use Iaijutsu Focus...

The Warder sounds good. But since I'm a 3.5 guy, Paladin's my shtick. I don't usually have a hard time keeping up with anybody's damage. Our Cleric is trying really hard to be optimized to the moon and back, but he sort of made enemies with the Wizard and the other Cleric, so I get lots of free buffs. Haha.

My two biggest damage dealers were a Kobold Lancer and then a DDM:P Beatstick Cleric. The cleric is fun, in a LE kinda way. I've got the character sheet around my room somewhere, if I remember I'll take it with me to class tomorrow and punch it in on my lunch break...

Those sound like fun. I've never been much of a mounted combat guy, Paladin or not, if you can believe it.

Well... paladins got stronger in PF too... plus there's a PoW archetype for paladins I think.
