Cipher Trance
For those of you familiar with the work done by the people over at planewalker.com (it's the ony source I know of for this material), what is the general opinion of the Transcendant Orders' "Cipher Trance" feat-chain?
Worth taking? Or is it just fluff feats?
NB - It probably won't change whether I take them or not, as a member of the Transcendant Order (which I will), but I was just curious.I apologise if I come across daft. I'm a bit like that. I also like a good argument, so please don't take offence if I'm somewhat...forthright.
Please be aware; when it comes to 5ed D&D, I own Core (1st printing) and SCAG only. All my opinions and rulings are based solely on those, unless otherwise stated. I reserve the right of ignorance of errata or any other source.

Re: Cipher Trance
They look okay to me. Not the most powerful Feats ever, but seem to have their uses.
Planescape 3.x Feats. It is a joyful thing indeed to hold intimate converse with a man after one’s own heart, chatting without reserve about things of interest or the fleeting topics of the world; but such, alas, are few and far between.

Re: Cipher Trance
I'm not as well lanned in 3e rules and workings, but the feat seems pretty decent, and all the other Cipher skills seem to build off of the trance, so you might as well.
Have fun! I've always wondered what it would be like to play a Cipher, they seem pretty neato.~~~
