And to answer Snowbluff, we are getting sidetracked and I am out of creative juices between working on a class for the Base Class Challenge and making a bunch of spider creatures so I'm not helping get us back on track.

No, no it isn't but it has people who view things.. differently, and is a good clip, I believe anyways.

The first thing visitors to the demiplane will notice is the sky. It is locked in a perpetual twilight with a green-yellow color to the sky and no stars, sun, or moon. Shadows on the plane seem to come alive, writhing with life of their own. The plane is small, merely a few dozen miles across, flat from end to end meaning that with sharp enough eyes one might be able to see straight around the plane. The plane is covered in blue grass and strange red-purple trees, a ziggurat the only sign of anything civilized. On closer inspection the entire ziggurat seems to be a heaving, living mass of pure black flesh. At the top, there is a great pool of black ooze. This ooze will lash out at creatures which draw too near, its tendrils burrowing into their flesh and as it enters their blood stream it begins to change them making them more like the inhabitants of the plane (see below) and bringing them into the hive mind which is Xuldarinar. When it infects a sentient being capable of planar travel it will send them back to their home prime, or to any prime, to try and 'colonize'. It is this entity from which the plane gets its name.

Inhabitants

Xuldarinar is inhabited by various venomous animals. However these animals seem to be made of living shadow, inky black in color and semi-translucent, reshaping into new forms as they fight. Their venom carries the black ooze of Xuldarinar and can, in theory, infect a traveler as certainly as the pool itself. While the transformation induced there in is less total than becoming a black shadow-ooze, the ooze will propagate within the victim's bloodstream eventually replacing it with the infectious ooze and bringing them and their knowledge into Xuldarinar. All creatures part of this hivemind are in constant telepathic rapport as long as they are within 24 miles of each other (the absolute maximum distance anywhere in the demiplane is from anywhere else within it). The transformation is not instant although the hivemind will exert its control quickly; it takes 1 week for the process to be complete however and during this time a heal spell can reverse the transformation, once it is complete only direct divine intervention (potentially Miracle spell) can undo the transformation.

Planar Traits:

Finite Size: 48 mile by 48 mile plane which loops back into itself like some sort of video game.

Slow Time: For each day that passes on Xuldarinar one week passes on the Prime.

Xuldarinar, the plane: As with the deity and elder evil of me, or anyone of the PrC devoted to the elder evil, it is not something I want to find myself in the presence of.. But I rather like it. Thank you.

Now if someone would open a portal there and just leave it open, I'd be in business. Given the nature.. Im tempted to presume it is some sort of "planar cyst". Something got into the wheel, or was created, and subsequently got walled off.

Edit: Now what would it do to Neth?

Clearly the best souls are those of PCs.

Failing that, Fighter souls are nice and tender, unlike just about every single other Class, they can be extracted without trauma and that prevents them from gaining the distinct acidic aftertaste that ruins the meal.

The thing is the souls of fharlaghn worshipers are like leather.

See this is why I prefer newly created, mass produced souls. They're the freshest and easiest to season to taste.

Makes building a Construct creation engine worth it when you can plug an Incarnate Construct module onto the end of the thing and make brand new people from your multitudes of soulless automatons.

Sure they take a year or so to mature and develop but that's a whole year of seasoning as one sees fit. And you avoid the gamey taste that free-range PC souls bring to the table.

The Plane of Rats

Ever wonder where all those Dire Rats young adventurers fight come from? Its not that the Inn is unhygienic, those rats come from the Plane of Rats. The Plane of Rats is one massive mountain valley with a single large city in its center. At first this seems an entirely normal mountain valley, until one realizes that the sun is a hate green orb burning in the sky. Night is no better, somehow the moon is bloodred and the stars shine purple. Most visitors are unnerved by this, but it is nothing compared to the natives.

Inhabitants

The natives are, surprise, rats. Of all kinds. Normal, Dire, Horrid, Half Troll. You name it and there is a rat of it. The true rulers of this plane though, are the Rat Men, but they do not live in the city. The live in massive warrens under the mountain and they plan to conquer all the realms. For that is what the Dire Rats in the basement are, scouts. The Rat Men have been gaining intelligence for hundreds of years, and it is almost time to unleash their fury.

Planar Rifts: The Plane of Rats is rife with minor Planar Rifts, these function as permanent gate spells that allow someone, or something, to travel from one plane to the next, but they always exit in a Tavern.

I imagine running a sort of bleak Plane of Rats/Sen's Fortress/Shadow of the Colossus module. I don't even like Dark Souls, but that place has always screamed "dungeon" to me.

Snow and 'Chovies are both PF players, so I assumed that was the choice system. I seem to be the only 3.5 native in our standard PbP group haha.

I learned 3.PF, I just feel that Pathfinder is more streamlined and not as confusing to build a character in, due to the relative lack of classes compared to 3.5, but maintains nearly the same level of customization through archetypes. If 3.PF was the system, that would be even better.
