Tips for roleplaying this guy... (or im playing a Saiyan and id like help)

I will be playing in a DBZ RPG (its this one if anyone is curious) and i will be playing a Saiyan named Fen, taken from Fennel (gotta keep those naming conventions ) and Fenrir (this should tell you a bit about where i wanna go with this guy). So ya we got another Saiyan who survived the destruction of their planet.

Anywho his three Z Souls (best to think of them kinda like WoDs Virtue and Vices, except they give me bonus dice instead of Willpower) are The Last Saiyan, The Wolf of Ragnarok, and Fury Incarnate. The Wolf of Ragnarok gives him bonus dice when he is taking part in widespread destruction, with little to no regard for collateral damage. Fury Incarnate gives him bonus dice whenever he lets his rage dictate his actions. Currently im not sure when The Last Saiyan would kick in so ideas on that would be nice.

So Fen and the other PCs (who are currently undecided) work for Cooler, as we would rather not get randomly Vader'd by Frieza. Things about Fen:

1. He is pretty sure that the story of "a giant meteor took out your planet" is bogus. He knows Saiyans weren't exactly the most vigilant people but hes pretty sure they would notice a huge meteor and then blow it up.

2. He knows that Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz are alive, but he sees them as little more than Freiza's pet attack monkeys , so he has no respect for them.

3. He blames King Vegeta for the destruction of the planet, as he believes he should have stopped whatever happened. This blame has shifted to Vegeta and by extension to Nappa, as Nappa was a high ranked official and Vegeta is a Prince.

4. He views Raditz as little more than a snarling dog. Hes probably right.

5. He hates Frieza. Not because he is a giant jerk (he is) but because he is incredibly unprofessional. You just dont kill your underlings, its a waste.

6. He respects Cooler. Cooler is a lot of things, unprofessional isn't one of them. By extension Cooler may not respect Fen, but he knows that Fen is reliable.

Capabilities:
Fen is very good at punching stuff, its his main solution. He is also very good with Ki, the problem is he only has one attack, Ragnarok, and it takes all of his Ki to use it, so he ends to save it. He can however chuck lots of little Ki blasts with little problem.

He can do the Oozaru transformation, and he does, but only when his team doesnt have much of a choice, as hes bad at controlling it.

So ya thats Fen, any recommendations for roleplaying tips or cool attack names is appreciated.

RP tip: Find some kind of Senzu Bean (sp?) or equivalent. That'll let you toss as many Ragnaroks for you've got beans, which will give you a bit of firepower to play with. Especially since you know you'll keep ending up in situations when you have to ki-blast something. Alternatively, find a decent enough blaster that you've got an attack that falls between 'plink ineffectively' and 'nuke the world'.

Not seeing a huge problem with the whole 'yet another leftover Saiyan out there running around'... frankly, I'm surprised there weren't a hell of a lot more of them kicking around after Planet Vegeta went 'boom', given that they were frequently off-planet on missions or whatever the heck they were doing. Anyhow, the whole 'Last Saiyan' thing sounds like it would kick in when he's out on his own- X number of squares away from the rest of the party, or whatever. Or maybe when he's feeling depressed and homesick >.>

This might give you some ideas for attack names- if you want that genuine Dragonball feel, just run your ideas through babelfish or Google Translate from English to Japanese to English again before you plug them into the Old Norse

Oh, and one idea- give a couple of his bigger punches the nomers 'Tyr's Hand' 'Odin's Feast' and see how many of the other players are myth-savvy enough to catch the references

Also yes, we will totally be getting Senzu Bean equivalents, because no one can heal, so we are gonna need those. The Ki refill is a bonus honestly.

Last Saiyan seems to me like it would grant bonus dice when Fen is able to act freely on his own, and penalties in situations where he is forced to cooperate with others, since as described Fen gives a very strong "Lone Wolf" vibe (pun intended). He can work within a group and is willing to do so, so long as Fen remains free to choose what he does along with when and how he does it. it is only when circumstances force him to hold back for the sake of others (concern for collateral damage, under orders from a legitimate authority, ect.) that "cramp his style" so to speak.

I kind of wonder how that Z-Soul will play out should Fen not be, in fact, the last surviving saiyan, though.

Make him incredibly involved in Pop Culture picked up as he moved toward Earth. Give him an unhealthy fondness for sketch comedy in particular. Then relentlessly quote Monty Python, SCTV, Kids in the Hall, SNL, Mad TV, and In Living Color.

Then introduce him, in character, to Bo Burnham's "What" on Youtube to give him a modern touch to the scathing dissection of modern satire.

This is a DBZ game. You need a gimmick.

Every DBZ character has one. Piccolo is aloof, Gohan is a nerd, Goku is a lovable idiot, Vegeta has serious anger management issues, Nappa is dead, Frieza never stays dead, Trunks and Goten have their thing, Ginyu Tokusentai is Ginyu Tokusentai... and so on. Heck, even Cooler's quirky miniboss squad is a quirky miniboss squad. You need a quirk, a unique behavioral tick.

I suggest turning the Wolf angle up to eleven. Wag your Saiyan tail when you're excited. Lick people to show affection. (Only when you're drunk.) Growl. A lot. Howl before going Oozaru. Scratch your ears as if you had flees. Groom yourself publicly. (Once is enough.) Make canine puns. Treat your allies like a pack. (Assume that you're the alpha. If you're not, periodically challenge the guy who is. But not in a murder-y way.)

DBZ alternates eagerly between brutal (if unreasonably stretched out) action sequences and absolute silliness. Your character should be no different. Every character should be no different.

Ya pretty much. Unlike most Saiyans who go Scream at person to get something, then blast when you dont get what you want. He goes 1. Negotiate. 2 Yell 3. Blast.

Fen still doesnt get why he added that extra step
