Re: Name my magical pitchfork.
Chuck (or Chuckie).
Prong. James Prong.
Neptune (okay, so Nepture uses a trident, rather than a pitchfork).
Earthshaker (Poseidon's trident could cause earthquakes).
Byron McKeeby (the model used in the painting American Gothic)
Quadshula (mangled Sanskrit for pitchfork).
The Monster's Bane.

Re: Name my magical pitchfork.
What about it is magical? Is it just a +1 Pitchfork of Genericness?
It is inevitable, of course, that persons of epicurean refinement will in the course of eternity engage in dealings with those of... unsavory character. Record well any transactions made, and repay all favors promptly.. (Thanks to Gnomish Wanderer for the Toreador avatar! )

Re: Name my magical pitchfork.
Is it a standard 4 prong pitchfork? If so, go with a Rusty and Co reference and call it a +1 Trident.

Re: Name my magical pitchfork.
Tine (TEE-neh) - a girl's name in Scandinavia. Just another spelling/pronunciation of 'Tina'.

Re: Name my magical pitchfork.
This 'ere don't need no name. It's just my pitchfork. Yeah, they say t'wer forged by them dwarves o'er by that mountain and it's sharper than damn near anything else round 'ere but that's no reason to go around callin' it Prongbane the Orc Gouger or one of them fancy names. It's my pitchfork.

Re: Name my magical pitchfork.
Tiny Tuner. (Tiny because, well, tines. Tuner as in tuning fork, because it's a "pitch" fork.)

Re: Name my magical pitchfork.
Horace usually makes for a good farm-equipment name, if you want to go simplistic.
If you're going totally overboard I would suggest something like "Morthok the Legendary, Destroyer of Fields"Currently RPG group playing: Endworld (D&D 5e. A Homebrewed post-apocalyptic supplement.)
My campaign settings: Azura; 10,000 CE | The Frozen Seas | Bloodstones (Paleolithic Horror) | AEGIS - The School for Superhero Children | Iaphela (5e, Elder Scrolls)

Re: Name my magical pitchfork.
I'm tossing my vote toward the Haymaker as well. Bonus points if it's able to be thrown.

Re: Name my magical pitchfork.
Another +1 for "The Haymaker" from me...inspired DaedalusMkV, inspired!
I apologise if I come across daft. I'm a bit like that. I also like a good argument, so please don't take offence if I'm somewhat...forthright.
Please be aware; when it comes to 5ed D&D, I own Core (1st printing) and SCAG only. All my opinions and rulings are based solely on those, unless otherwise stated. I reserve the right of ignorance of errata or any other source.

Dave. Or Jones, or Hank, or Bert. Something simple.
But the Haymaker and James Prong did make me laugh.

Re: Name my magical pitchfork.
....he could name it after his wife...because, like her, it's old, well used, missing a tooth (or two), but he's had it for ever and just doesn't have the heart to get rid of it.

I think, therefore I get really, really annoyed at people who won't.
