It was Lawful Neutral in theory, and Chaotic Evil in execution (at least in the first movie).

I'll probably update the Lawful Good guide later today. It's been slower than I thought, since what I thought was a mild cold turned into the legit, literal flu, but what kind of LG guide-writer would I be if I let that unduly get in the way of my civic duty?

It's an evil alignment that is intent on neither replacing your spine with a steel rod nor ripping you a new *******. It's about the only alignment that doesn't really have super-terrible stereotypes (as far as "evil" goes, anyway).

Alright, I've started some actual work on my lawful good handbook and finished the opening due to an unexpected amount of free time that is now about to end. I won't be able to work on the guide any more today, but I would really appreciate some feedback on how I'm writing and formatting it so far so I can do a better job tomorrow, when I plan to finish at least one more sections.

I don't think so. Best you can do is save a link somewhere. Someday soon I'm going to track down every extremely useful resource I've ever seen and stick them in my Extended Signature, but that's a task for another day.

I didn't see the process of the other handbooks, but I finished a working skeleton (in more man-hours than I'm willing to admit) before posting it at all. Did anyone else try that method, or is there another way people write these that I'm unaware of?

Do as I did: plagiarise the hell out of Red Fel's structure and add bits and pieces later on down the track. Incidentally, it's even more amusing to look at LE's handbook on the front-of-thread table - while other handbooks are crowded together, everyone keeps their distance from LE

I used a similar structure to The Altruist Orc's, since when I did it his was the only other one around.

That's kinda by accident, but still funny: because I'm doing it by alphabetical order of alignment, and the first guide for an alignment is the first in the list, Red Fel's LE Handbook will be along until either a second Neutral or Lawful Evil guide shows up; in the first case, it's unlikely to happen because it's such an all-over-the-place alignment; in the second case, it's because their LE guide would have to compete with Red Fel's, and I don't think anybody wants that kind of competition...for multiple reasons.

Only because most people are too frightened by what true freedom represents to dare flirt with it long enough to write a guide. Only those of us who know the delights of a total lack of restriction can ever dare.
