My character, as you can see, is showing the oh-so-lovely bar across it.

Does anyone feel inspired for a baby dragon? It doesn't have to match the current picture, in fact, let's branch out! What is a really cool baby dragon picture?

Did it get its first coin to start a treasure hoard?
Did it find a little geode to curl up in?
Did it just win a mighty fight against a mouse?
Did its mighty blast of flame catch a piece of paper on fire?
Did it manage its first spell?

I'm terrible at rawing non-humanoid figures with OoTs style,
also i wanted to practice a bit with pixel art, so i choose to do this.
I hope you like it!

The one Linklele made is awesome, no arguing that, but what you have is not an issue with your image, but with your host. If you right click your avatar and click "open image in new tab" you will see the picture without the bar. From there you can save the image and upload it to an image hosting site that doesn't show the bar.

And if you take the new picture and run right back to the host that shows the bars that one will have a bar across it as well. So the short version is: don't use the bar host.

is there any unspoken rule on a limit for how many requests one person can make in a single post / certain amount of time? The thought crossed my mind to try my luck at getting a small D&D group I'm in some image refs for our characters via this thread, knowing that there was no guarantee I'd get all or even any of them. But i just wanted to make sure i wouldn't be upsetting anyone by posting 5-6 different requests in a single go.

I can absolutely do that! I originally gave her curves, but Inkscape exploded mid-edit so I lost the vector for that part. Getting it back won't take long, though!

Here we go. The beak looks a little wonky on my end, but that's on me for not taking into account the mouth piece. Hope it's a little more fitting!

I love those aspects of linklele's, but you got some great detailing in yours.

The clear solution is stealing each others design and making changes and then they steal that design back and make other changes collaboration.

As far as motion and poses go, it's really simple: I just used the official Oots comics as a reference and created a preset of "blank mannequins" in various poses ready to be accesorized. I encoruage to do so too: it cuts time by a lot!
(and in general, i keep a lot thigs I made for other characters so with just a bit of remodeling they are reusable again: no sense in drawing a new sword from zero when you can copypaste an old one and modify it just enough to seem a new one that's the beauty of vectorial drawing!)

This said, I propose you a challenge: try to find all the reused items in my old avatars made through the years

Well, may as well throw this out there then. might come back for more later if people are okay with this, kind of considering getting my whole party done.

Equipment: Elven curve blade hanging from her left hip, a pack of four Javelins on her back, hanging over her left shoulder. Tight leather pants, and a sleeveless slightly-torn up white cloth crop-top.
X Any other notable features (scars, tattoos, etc.): A long red feather tied into her hair, exact position is up for interpretation, I'll say over her left ear somewhere. wherever you think it looks good.
X If their skin is a special color, add that: Order of the Stick-style Orange. i got the RGB as 222, 178, 59
Hair color: Brown, RGB 142,103,37 ish. Ear-length, properly brushed and cared for.
Race: Hobgoblin
X Class: Fighter
X Pose you would like your avatar to be in: Nothing particular in mind. She was a pirate for a good while, so maybe sword out and at the ready in her right hand with her left hand up in a dueling-pose like you sometimes see in Fencers. Or perhaps her left hand is clinging to a ship's rope or wooden post while she's leaning outwards on it.

additional info: I've got her eyes as RGB 231, 246, 19. She's a moderate-intelligence low-wisdom fighter, so she can be brash, arrogant, and the type to act without thinking, but generally still pretty smart about things. Never really put any thought into her footware, and not the toed-kind like we see on redcloak, normal people shoes.

This is a problem I've been having with mine, and it's because the pngs I export from Inkscape are too damn large; try out this one, and if it doesn't work, I'll crunch it down further. She's going to be very small, but that's the sacrifice for having all of her in shot, alas.

The avatar max size si 114 x 114 pixels.
That means images larger than that will be cropped.
Quick hint: Select the avatar in inkscape and use "export image as PNG", then on the new tool window that appears click on "selection" and imput 114 in the biggest of the two bbetween height and width, the other will arrange accordingly. (But that means that wide avatars like the deltamire one will be short in order to keep the proportions. If you don't want it to be that small you have to remove the sword)

The color for the skin you provided was actually ...a light brown? I used it for the shoes, so you can see it.
Your indications were very detailed, so i dont know wich part were actually important and wich were not. I hope I nailed them down!

Ahh, that's fair. Think i mostly chose that colour since i wanted her to be "Orange" but not as "Cartoon" as OOTs. Given this is in OOTS cartoon style though, i'll totally keep the skin / boot look you've got there

5th edition. She is a 3rd level Wood Elf Astral Self Monk. It was Unearthed Arcana, but it was printed in the new book but a bit more balanced properly.

Pink hair is purely just a random tacked on flair of fabulousness.

The extra arms aren't really attached to her body, it's just that that's kind of the best I'm going to get out of the OOTS art style that isn't going to look a bit strange, since they float over her shoulders. They're also large, having a reach of 10 feet.

They're translucent, and deal Force damage. Using Ki, a monk can summon them for 10 minutes and start using them to attack immediately, without moving their body at all. Just stand 10 feet away and have them start hitting. At later levels you can summon a ghostly mask/face, and finally a full body, getting benefits from this as you go.

Astral Self monks tend to have some sort of internal struggle with their identity, personality, and whatever else makes up their "self". My character in particular rolls a save every time she summons them to see if her highly protective alternate personality is going to come out and fight her friends.
